[rs=2] | So, this is Ciel. He's seventeen years old and rather distant from the world. The boy is definitely one of those who has his guard up pretty constantly. There's very few people he lets himself get close to, but once he does, he's a fierce friend toward them. Honestly, he's the type of person who would do anything for his friends, especially the ones he cares about enough to consider a best friend. He's not had too many relationships, that requires a level of trust in people he just doesn't generally have. However, there's one boy that has caught his eye (his best friend, Turner). He's at the school for a suicide attempt that didn't go the way he wanted it to, and has come to the school with a bad attitude. Pair that with his chosen appearance, and the fact he's not closed about his sexuality, Ciel hasn't made the best impression with a lot of the students. [rs=2] | When people first meet Issac, they assume he's just quiet and shy, which is the truth. However, what they don't realize is just how deeply it goes. He doesn't hang out with people in his free time and he avoids social situations as much as possible. He has been known to suffer from panic attacks when met with someone new when he was really stressed out. He thinks very lowly of himself and doesn't think he's good enough at or for anything. His view of himself is extremely low, and it's not something that people usually realize. He wants more than anything to have really close friends, to have people that he can trust, but he just can't open himself up for that. He can't even stand to have someone touch him. Who wants to be friends with someone like that? He is a sweetheart, someone who cares deeply for others, but the ability to grow an attachment to someone is so deeply suppressed under his fears and insecurities that it's almost like it's not even there. He can't trust people not to hurt him, either, which is another reason it's difficult for him to try to make friends with anyone. [rs=2] | So, this is Mr. Vital (pronounced: VIH-tall) Larkane Sage. Looks like a girl right? Believe it or not, this lovely creature is one of the boys. He tends to act and dress like a girl, even going so far as throwing his voice so that it's more feminine. Why? Because it's a game to him. He wants to get close to you, to earn your trust, only to destroy you in one way or another. He's found that people are more apt to trust him as the sweet and caring "girl" that most people see. His eyes, however, tell a different story. They're cold and show just how cruel he can be. The boy is at St. Helena's as a freshman, though he's sixteen, having been held back twice. Oh well. He doesn't care too much. It gives him more time to play. Vi has been diagnosed with narcissistic and sadistic personality disorders, and anyone who knows his true side can see that. However, he's a bit of a masochist as well. He loves people that can mess with his mind and body just as much as (or better than) he can. Mr. Sage is going to have many friends, though he's not as true as he makes himself out to be. They're generally his victims, people he'd never honestly believe to be his friend. There would be a select few he'd ever even consider being good enough to actually be his friend, and he'd still mess with them, though not as much as the general public. Vital doesn't have too many lovers, though he likes boys and girls and... well, just people. Of course he doesn't like many people. He'll screw around with a bunch of people, but a relationship? That'd only be possible if someone came in and claimed him, someone that'd cater to his masochistic side, someone worthy. Good luck with that. Oh, and by the way, breaking up relationships is his specialty. Tally "girl" here is bound to have many an enemy. His style changes from day to day, but he is always dressed to impress. He likes the attention. He's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to everything he does. Jazz does not tell anyone the truth about why he is a student at St. Helena's. He lets them think he's there for OCD, like his best friend. However, he's really there for an eating disorder that's slowly killing him. He does not think there's anything wrong with him, however. The only person who knows the truth is his best friend, and crush, Milo. Jazz has never really had many relationships, mostly because he's physically distant from most people, not wanting them to hug him and see how big he is. In his view, he's a lot bigger than he is, while in reality, people are more shocked by how thin he is. The boy needs friends and enemies, and maybe a fling or two in the past. [rs=2] | Sin is one of those boys that doesn't really have friends. He has people he hangs out with, people he uses, people he sleeps with. That's about it. He does not really get close to people, though he often thinks that certain relationships are more than what they really are. He's flirty, with the ladies anyway, and very quick to snap if someone questions his sexuality. He's straight, thank you kindly (though he's really not, but the boy won't admit it). He has a future relationship lined up, but that's not to say he won't have any flings along the way. He's highly likely to hook up with some people, girls despite his dislike for them. [rs=2] | A royal student, Elora is new to the school. She didn't have what people would consider a traditional childhood and did not even have a "real" Christmas until she was fifteen, and she paid for it herself for the kids at the home. She has a slight anger issue, which is the reason that she is at the school. Despite that, though, she can be really nice, though only if she can gain from it unless you are someone she actually considers a friend. She's rather manipulative, and has spent the past few years selling herself for the money she has. She's got a slight thing for guys that are older than her, or people with money. Money is a good thing, especially for a girl that did not grow up with any. She's rather smart, but dislikes classes beyond her art and dance ones. She's no set plots for a relationship of any kind, but it's highly likely she'll have a bunch of flings, one night stands, and FWB. She's also likely to still sell herself as well; and, she's not picky about gender as long as they're either willing to pay well or they're hot. [rs=2] | Kaelan is at St. Helena's after fairly recently moving to the States from England because he deals with being bipolar and refuses to take his medication. He does not believe in taking meds, except he will when he's in a manic state but that's different. He's friendly, but very withdrawn. He spends a lot of time alone, just so people don't have to deal with his changing personality. The boy is an artist at heart, and loves photography and drawing the most. He's likely to make friends with people who do not mind that he's distant a lot, probably more of the artistic teens as well. His best friend is Mickey Thompson, though, and it's highly unlikely anyone else will be as close to him in that sense. However, there might be one or two more people he's really close to as well. Kaelan does not believe in set sexualities. He just likes people. He's had quite a few short lived relationships, but none of them usually last long. He's not the type to stay in a relationship too long, mostly ending them when in a manic state. There's not been a past relationship he's wanted to get back in to once he was more level headed, though; but, who knows, maybe someone in the future will come along and he'll want to try to fix things if he ends them when he's not really aware what he's doing. On top of that, not everyone his own age is too fond of the fact that he's generally rather kid-like in the way he acts. Music is Ric's lifeline, and the only reason he's still clean. An ex-student of St. Helena's, he understands the kids a lot better than they realize. Alaric is the type of guy that, if you can stand his personality, he can make friends with just about anybody. He isn't too picky when it comes to friends, only a fair few will ever be close enough to really know his true emotions and thoughts on the darker stuff in his life. He has not had any time for a relationship since high school, though that does not mean he would pass up an opportunity to one. He's rather oblivious to any flirting, simply since it's been so long since he's focused on anything like that. While he's bisexual, his attraction falls mostly on guys; and, for some reason, he tends to fall for assholes. It's a slight problem that he's hoping to get past. [rs=2] | A substitute teacher for both choir classes and music i/ii, Damon is not what most people think of when they think of "teacher". He's got tattoos, and dresses like a little punk most of the time. However, he's someone who knows what they're talking about. He's friendly and outgoing, though a bit rough around the edges at times. He does not always have a language filter, even when he should. Damon's the type of guy to befriend his students, especially the ones who are suicidal. After all, it takes one friend to make a difference. He always needs friends and enemies (because, c'mon, he's a teacher. He's bound to have many people who don't like him). Plus, his attitude is sometimes slightly offensive. He was raised in a southern town, though, and often he uses pet names like "sweetie" and "hon" for just about everybody, whether he means to or not. [rs=2] | As vice principal, it is Gibbs' job to oversee the counselors. He makes sure they're all doing as they're supposed to, and provides any assistance to them if needed. He's the one who helps monitor any group therapy sessions without actually conducting them. Though the principal gets the final word on students' punishments, Gibbs is often the one in charge of assigning isolation. He's also one of the history teachers and actually enjoys that. He's a bit of a hard ass, but he does care, even if he does not always show it. There are always subtle, and rarely the not so subtle, things. He's particularly fond of two of his ex-students, Alaric Jester and Abigail Perretta, and consider them the closest things to children he's ever had after four failed marriages. He's not really looking for a relationship, nor would he ever do anything with a minor. He does need a few people that could be almost friends, actual friends, and, of course, enemies. Tobi is the type of person who is sweet, bubbly, and very caring. She gets along with just about everybody and loves to make people smile. Tobi gets attached to people rather quickly and likes to help in any way possible. The woman has not dated since her high school sweetheart broke up with her, and is not really interested in dating either. She would much rather just focus on work. She's still learning, which means she might teach a class here and there or sit in on therapy sessions, but she's still not got the same authority as one of the counselors or teachers or medical staff. She's young and still trying to figure out who she is; but, she's friendly. She does not judge people and likes being around them. She's the type of girl that enjoys parties and going out and having fun. Acadia has not really had a serious relationship before, though she would like one. Everyone in her family has started families young, and she feels like she's falling behind. Because of this, she's a bit scared she's going to be alone forever.
