Ric grumbled to himself, taking a drink out of the Starbucks Double Shot (in espresso and cream flavor) can in his hand. It was way too early on a Saturday to be at the school. He could have been home with Ben and Zar. He could have been sleeping. It was much too close to December to be dealing with this kind of stuff. Yet, there he was, with his coffee and clipboard, waiting for the students to arrive. There were chairs set up in a circle in the middle of the room, the uncomfortable plastic ones that your legs would stick to if you wore shorts. Not that anyone in their right mind would be wearing shorts. It was too bloody cold outside. At least it had not snowed in a few days. That was a good thing in Ric's opinion. Gibbs chuckled a little, taking a drink out of his go-cup of hot, black coffee.
"You're here because you're a good guy that cares what happens to these kids," Gibbs replied, setting his cup down on the counter that lined the far wall, leaning back against it. He was really only there for supervision. Alaric would be conducting the group therapy session, and he was there for support, and for if things got out of hand. The security staff had already been alerted that there would be a session, and there were a few members waiting nearby just in case he or Ric shouted. He did not think Ric really needed it (or was that a hope?), but in a place like St. Helena's, it was better to be safe than sorry. Besides, Jackson would kick himself forever if something happened to one of his kids on his watch.
Ric grumbled something in response as he took another drink of his cold coffee drink, glancing over the list of students they were going to be expecting. Things could get very interesting very fast. To be honest, Alaric was not sure how much he cared at that moment. He would much rather be sleeping. He knew it was just because of his personal issues, though, and he was trying to shove all that crap aside. It was too early for it, anyway. It could stop creeping up on him at any time. Maybe he would go to his old apartment and mess around with his guitar and keyboard there once the therapy session was done. That sounded like a good idea. He would just message Ben and Salizar afterward. Alaric's eyes darted toward the door as the first few students started to come in and he plastered a very believable smile on his face, one that even his boss almost believed, before saying, "Morning, guys. Take a seat anywhere." He gestured toward the empty seats with the hand not clutching the almost gone energy drink, and flicked his hair out of his eyes. He waited until all the students that were going to be there were present, marking so on the papers on the clipboard he rested on his lap, to set the empty can down on the floor near his feet and say, "Alright, so, I know this is really cheesy and everything, but I'm not sure everyone knows who the others in the room are, so why don't we go around and introduce ourselves. Give us a name and any other information--"
"Appropriate information," Jackson Gibbs interrupted, crossing his arms over his chest as he scanned the students in the room. A couple of them he knew better than others, but he knew all their names and faces. He remembered from their files. A few of them, Gibbs was unsure of how well they would fare in the group setting; but, it was worth a shot.
Ric nodded a little and laughed softly with a smile, glancing over toward his boss and mentor before looking back to the students. "Yes, let's keep the information PG, guys. So, yeah, let's start this. I'm Alaric Jester, for those of you I've not met; I teach the choir and piano classes, and I'm a master of being ridiculously lame. Next introduction?" Alaric nodded with another smile and an inaudible sigh. Something told him it was going to be a very long day.

The Outfit: Clicky? The Notes Just realized how short this is. O.O There was no reasonable justification for sending Sophie to group therapy. So, she'd had one little freak out. But, wasn't that to be expected when your hair started falling out? It wasn't just in strands or even in groups of two or three--- these were clumps of hair. Her beautiful hair! The first time it happened she'd been a bit annoyed, thinking someone had taken a scissors to her hair, and the second time she grew a little paranoid. Then, it was happening all the time and she honestly believed she was going to go bald. She'd screamed in the middle of class, and they'd send her to the nurse who sent her to her councillor who said that she'd have to start eating properly and attend more therapy. Group therapy, since individual stuff didn't seem to be inspiring her to change very quickly.
Alexa Ross wasn't a bad counsellor. If Sophie wasn't responding to treatment, it was entirely Sophie's fault. She was refusing to work with anyone, to admit that she even had a problem... at least until now. Her hair!
Sophie had better things to do than sit around and talk about her so-called feelings. She marched into the door with a defiant look in her eye that was poorly disguised by a false smile on her lips. She took a seat near the edge of the group as far away from the councillors as possible.
"Next introduction?"
"I'm Sophie Martin. I'm a junior. And, with all due respect, Sir, I don't think belong here." She use her sweetest tones in hope of winning him over. A sweet, pretty, normal little girl didn't belong in group therapy with a bunch of real crazies did she? |

Did they want him suicidal?! Or maybe homicidal as he thought about his former counsellor who had pawned him off on someone else just because he didn't think he could handle him or something like that. Idiot. So why the fuck was he even going to this stupid thing? Mostly because he'd just gotten out of solitary and he didn't fancy going back in right away. Two weeks locked in solitary had been near torture. But at least he'd had Vital to keep him company. He smirked at the thought of how he had surprised the other male with the fact that he'd managed to carve a small opening beneath the padding of his cell which lead into the cell they'd kept Vital in. But that was neither here nor there.
So here he was, getting dressed at eight o' fucking clock in the morning on a fucking Saturday... just like a good little boy should. But seriously. Group therapy? Perhaps it could be fun. Maybe he could find a new play toy. He was bored. He'd been bored for two fucking weeks. Assholes. He hadn't been crazy until they'd locked him in solitary for two weeks. Mother fuckers. So he strode into the medical wing where they were holding group therapy, itching to bolt as he glanced towards the doors which hid the isolation rooms. Bleh. He flopped down into one of those mother fucking plastic chairs, legs spread out in front of him, crossed at the ankles and his hands resting on his stomach. So he had his snake coiled around his left hand... rosary around the right. Let them try and take Trillium. Poor baby had been left without him for two whole weeks, and she was feeling deprived of attention.
They were lucky that he'd fed her before they locked him up and that the mouse had been decent sized. If she'd been dead when he got back to his room, they would have been slaughtered by him. Every single last one of them. That lunatic Doctor Snighrig and his cohort, Doctor Hawke. And their accomplice... Mr. Alaric Jester. The clown who had helped them lock him away. He noticed then that even the vice principle was sitting in on the session, so maybe he couldn't dismember Jester like he really wanted to. He narrowed his eyes slightly and looked around the room. When the door behind him opened, however, a smiirk rose over Yony's features and he reached out, grabbing the new youth by the back of his shirt and jerked him down so that he was forced onto the floor on his ass at Yony's feet.
His right hand then moved up, lightly running his fingers through the male's hair. Ah yes, the lovely little fawn whom had caused him to be placed in solitary. Yes... how he would exact his revenge on this little fawn. Once there were no eyes around. For now, he tugged on Bambi's hair ever-so-lightly before resuming his rather absent-minded petting of the boy. Then Alaric Jester was speaking and introducing himself. He rolled his eyes, how pathetic. Keep it PG? He fought the urge to snort. The girl next to him then was speaking and he turned his glare on her. Ew. A royal. How disgusting. Didn't think she belonged there? He did snort this time. "Honey, you're probably more screwed up than us all," he sneered.
He looked over at Jester at this point. "The name is Yony Katana. I'm a junior. I love the color red and the sound of screams." And he loved plotting his revenge. He glared at the teacher across from him and gave a slow, methodical smirk. "Oh, and this is my darling darling Trillium," he stated, raising his left hand. "Isn't she gorgeous?" he asked, silently daring Jester or his boss to say anything against her. "And this..." he stated, stroking Kyle's hair lightly. "Is Bambi. Introduce yourself to the people, Bambi," he instructed of the little fawn beneath his touch.

He had been told to go to group therapy this Saturday in order to be around more people and get over losing his eyes. Sure, they act like it’s easy, oh just adapt to not having an eye anymore and putting in a fake glass one. Totally normal. He quickly got dressed and put in one of his many different colored glass eyes because that was one thing he loved about it. He was able to change it whenever he wanted, and he had different designs for them.
As he was walking down the hall he was looking around at the medical room that he had just spent a few days in almost two weeks ago. They had to keep him there until he went to the hospital so that they could check on it, and then he was given an option. Sunglasses, a glass eye, or even an eye patch. He decided to take part in the first two, and he had gotten many different glass eyes for different occasions and they all looked cool in his own opinion. It’s probably creep others out.
When he walked in he was pulled by the back of his shirt before he fell and sat in front of who he now knew was Yony. He didn’t need to look back and he bit his lip when he tugged on his hair before relaxing again when he just resumed petting his hair. He heard the people in charge saying to keep it PG and to introduce yourself. He was just confused on what he was going to say. Everyone was saying things that they loved, or things that they believed, but he didn’t know what he was going to answer. As he was listening to the others speak, he was outlining his legs through the cutouts in his jeans. He could see the little scars, and some larger scars through his leg and he began tracing those as well.
Kyle smiled when Yony told the girl that she was more screwed up than all of them. As he introduced Kyle slightly he bit his lip before taking a deep breath. “My name’s Kyle James, I’m a sophomore, and I have a glass eye” he said quietly before moving the hair out of his one eye showing a grayish blue design on it. He didn’t like sticking to the normal eye ones, but instead used all different designs of eyes like cat eyes, shark eyes, and anything else he could find. It was just another way that he could show stuff off.

All she knew was that a student ended up in the medical wing because of her. Which could only mean Kellen came out and had a little fun and hurt someone. She pulled on her clothing and quickly made way towards the Group Therapy room. On her way she bumped into Carter. "hey there Carter" she grinned widely, not even hiding her soft southern drawl that she had. "You headed to the dreaded Group Therapy session at this ungodly hour?" she asked with a tilt of her head, looking down slightly at him since she was wearing heels she stood about 6'3". She hooked arms with her new friend as they made way to the group therapy session.
Striding into the room, with Carter next to her. Lily nodded her head towards her history teacher before stopping for moment, her eyes glazing over ever so slightly as someone else came to the surface. The 'happy aura' that normally was around Lily, changed instantly. She let sharp, angry eyes glance around the room. The fuck was she doing here?! A guy she recognized as Yony Katana, and an anorexic royal bitch who’s name evaded her. She didn't recognize the younger male sitting next to Yony though. But that’s what introductions are for, right? Obviously she should remember the guy she walked in with, he must be a friend's of Lily's since their arms were hooked together, but she couldn’t remember his name. She just shrugged a shoulder and nodded her head at him.
Kellen tilted her head, hearing the scathing remark Yony made. "I for one agree with Yony. Poor you, you wouldn’t be missing clumps of your beautiful hair if you weren’t a fucking bag of bones." she hissed as she gently touched the other girls hair. "It’s a shame, because you do have lovely hair otherwise." her voice was cruel but honest. she sat down in an empty chair a few spots away from the anorexic bitch and turned her attention towards the other students as they introduced themselves. Kellen’s twisted smirk was on her face as she rolled her eyes. She could hear Rae's nagging voice telling her to be polite in front of the counselor and their teacher. She tilted her head curiously as she stared at Mr. Gibbs as if she had never seen him before. He was her teacher? Kellen had never seen the man before. Her eyes narrowed slightly before turning her attention towards the students introducing themselves.
When it came to be her turn, the smirk formed again. "Unfortunately, Lily is unable to be at the surface right now, so you'll have to settle for me. I'm Kellen, senior, and it's lovely to meet all of you." she was being sarcastic of course, she rather be on a date with the devil than be here. "You want us to be truthful?" she asked and continued without an answer from either adult in the room. "Well, I like violence, I like inflicting pain. I mean, I’m not Lily’s violent, sadistic alter for no reason. There are only two people in this room that I actually don’t mind being in the presence of. Yony and… you." she said pointing at Carter. She gave the counselor and vice principle a sweet but at the same time, twisted smile as she twirled the pair of spiked rings she were adorning her fingers.

He threw back the blankets and forced himself to get up and get dressed. He grabbed hold of his jacket and tugged it on over his shirt. He remembered getting the jacket a few years back. Yeah, his jacket was old, just like everything else he owned. But it had sentimental value. It had been a birthday gift from someone he cared for a great deal. He moved down the hall of the dorm building, it was still pretty dark.
Down one floor and over, and he knocked on a certain door. It was opened by his brother's roommate and he nodded to him carefully. He moved into the room at this point and shook his younger brother. "Meek, come on, man, get up, we gotta go to therapy," he stated simply, waiting until his brother finally dragged his ass out of bed and moved away so that he could get dressed. Once he was dressed, he began to move towards the administration building with his brother. On the way there, he did run into the Lily, and it looked like it was actually her and not one of the alter egos he'd heard of. "Hey, Lily," he stated easily before nodding at her question. "Yeah, my brother and I both have to go," he stated, gesturing towards his brother.
He smiled as she looped her arm through his and looked over towards Meeka and placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed it slightly before tugging the other male towards the infirmary. "Come on, Meek, let's get this over with, eh?" he asked with a faint wince as they entered in. And oh great... they were to be subjected to Katana. He had heard about the awful thing he and Vital Sage had been involved in, and from the boy on the flor beside of him, it was all true. The boy had a glass eye, just like he'd heard. Damn, what the hell? He wouldn't have been anywhere near Katana if Katana had removed his eye. He did notice that the air around Lily changed, however, and arched a brow as she nodded at him. "Lil?" he asked softly, though then they were told to sit.
He moved over to sit beside of Lily, feeling his brother come and sit beside of him and he watched Lily as she spoke. That didn't sound like Lily at all. Well hell. Lily wasn't that mean. And then she was introducing herself as Kellen. Well... interesting. He winced slightly at her intro of herself and then back at her as she stated that she didn't mind being in the presence of him. He arched a brow slightly. Oh? Why him? He wasn't entirely sure, he'd never met... Kellen. But apparently, it was his turn to introduce himself. He looked around the group at that point and frowned, what should he say? He sighed, shrugging slightly as he leaned back in his seat. "Alright, I guess. I'm Carter Collin annnnnnnnnnnd..." He paused a moment to think of something he could tell that didn't involve him liking chicks, and was having a bit of an issue.
"And... I want to get the fuck outta this place and get back to my family," he stated honestly, looking down at the floor slightly. He hated the fact that he was here and that his sister was having to handle the younglings all by herself. With both him and Meeka at the school, all she had for help was her boyfriend, and Carter barely even knew him really. He wasn't sure that he trusted him with his family. He was just glad that he was going to be graduating soon so that he could get back home soon. He looked over at Meeka at this point, nudging him with his elbow and offering him a slight grin.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] when you're young like this you're supposed to party Words: 1325 Outfit: HERE Notes: HE'S SPACED. cold. all meeka could think when he first woke up from his dead sleep was that he was cold. so, so cold. he thought, despite the fact that there were plenty of blankets on the bed and the room was anything but freezing. he hadn't always been cold. he had first been numb. his body had first been numb. in fact, he had felt so numb that he had a hard time remembering what it felt to be anything but numb. the cold and numbness had been a little scary at first, but soon enough meeka started to grow used to it. it was all becoming a familiar sensation that he could understand. he could handle slowly going under until he couldn't breathe any more.
the last few days had been getting better. while he couldn't breathe most days, he knew that he would have an especially hard time today. the night before, he had allowed himself to breathe. he'd taken one large breathe of painfully fresh air that he had been craving for weeks. meeka knew that carter would be mad enough to kill when he realized that his brother had failed to stay clean, but his anger was worth it. his whole body felt starved and crazed and desperate for any kind of sensation. his body screamed at him, wanting more and more and never being satisfied. his once numb body tingled and ached everywhere. as his eyes slowly slid open to glance toward a familiar face, meeka couldn't help but wince. "oh.." he sighed. everything felt almost painfully clear for the first time in weeks and while normally he would accept the clarity happily, he felt like he was drowning instead.
for once, the high didn't make him feel good. instead, it made him feel guilty and unbelievably sick to his stomach. he inhaled frantically, his lungs making hoarse noises as he swallowed air as if it would make everything all better. fever crashed through his already damaged system, making each breath as difficult as the one before. for once in his life, meeka almost wanted to beg to feel numb again. will it be bearable if i get up? please let it be bearable." he begged to a god that he didn't believe in, though he forced himself to sit up. instantly he was greeted with dizziness and nausea. the rush had been so intense that it had put time on pause, leaving him with a blur of names and colors. one name in general stood out from the rest: rowa.
somehow, that was the most important name of all. while there was a dull ache in the back of his mind every time he thought of jaysin, he knew who he was loyal to. he knew who he had to find to make all of this go away. meeka couldn't keep his eyes open for long, but just long enough to note that the ceiling was white and dingy and that carter was poking at him. and that he had to throw up. he'd made it to the toilet just fast enough to empty the small dinner he'd eaten the night before along with anything else in his system. it probably should have made him feel a little better to empty his stomach, but instead it just made him feel dirty. it took everything in him to get up and throw on a few layers of clothes, force him to avoid jaysin's gaze numerous times, before pushing himself out of his room and trail along after carter silently.
he'd almost worried that he wouldn't be able to get away from his brother without raising suspicion, but carter never really had been one to pay too much attention to detail. all it took was a pretty girl to catch his attention and he was free. free enough to crash into rowa's office and break down entirely, anyway. it took him a little longer than he'd hoped, but he managed to feel the numbness on his gums and find the strength to move back out of the room and back on course to his destination. originally he hadn't even remembered where he was supposed to be going, but he was quickly reminded once his mind was back on course and heat crawled up his legs and arms, clawing to his stomach painfully. his body fought to tremble as if he were cold, though he was burning from the inside out. there was something pleasant about the heat that moved through his veins, taking over the cold that previously overtook his body.
he seemed to float back to his brother's side, feeling a bit better knowing that he wasn't going to die in the next hour or two. again, he was silent until he got to the room that held his peers and the ones in charge of this stupid therapy session. he didn't care enough to be picky about where he sat, though he was a little glad that there was a seat open next to his brother. at least he knew that carter wasn't any more crazy than himself. while he started to zone out a little bit somewhere in the middle of the banter between the two adults in the room, he found his way back in at some point. did these people honestly expect for him to just voluntarily give out any information about himself? Sophie's voice rang harshly in his ears, making him wince slightly, though he tried to stop himself from rolling his eyes at how ridiculous she sounded. she was so sweet sounding, but she almost tried too hard to come across as innocent.
she wasn't the one that he was worried about though. hearing another voice break into his head made meeka wish that much more that he didn't have to be there. while the male's words were true, he forced himself to stay silent instead of chipping in and throwing harsh words at the female that was so obviously a little off. yony definitely sounded more off than anyone else in the room, but again, meeka was silent as death. he squirmed in his chair, not wanting to sit still any longer, though he knew it would get him no where to stand up and walk out. it dawned on him as he heard the kyle kid open his mouth to introduce himself that everyone in that room was fucking nuts. his attention turned toward lily with some form of slight entertainment. even lily made meeka want to squirm in his chair. he lifted his fingers to brush under his eyes trying to feel if they were still swollen from his major melt down, though he couldn't tell if it was obvious that he had been crying or not. the attention wasn't on him yet, but it would be.
he couldn't help but snort at carter's introduction, his eyes flashing toward his brother with annoyance. why couldn't he get over the fact that he was stuck here? lexis didn't want them at home. their siblings hated them. or well, maybe not carter, but meeka was sure that they all hated him. they wanted to be left alone. what was there at home that there wasn't here, other than an easier way to get his fix? meeka had no concept of time whatsoever right at that moment. it might have been years or just a few minutes until his gaze drifted forward again slowly, realizing it was his turn to talk. "i'm meeka collin." he started, though his gaze shifted somewhere far off as his arms folded in front of him. "i think that's all you need to know about me." after all, he didn't really have anything that he could offer when it came to himself. he didn't even know himself, so why should he try to pretend like he had any characteristics to offer up to help other people get to know him? |

He wasn't entirely sure why until he remembered that today was the day that Meeka was scheduled to be in group therapy. He rose, scrubbing his face with his hands before he went for a shower, washing his hair and body before he got dressed. Even though it was a Saturday, he had every intention of being at that school in case Meeka needed him for something. Grabbing his coat, he plunged into the coldness outside. It was just nearing at a quarter past seven, he'd be there by seven-thirty at the latest. The walk there wasn't all that bad, thankfully there wasn't that much snow on the ground anymore, and pathways had already been made so that his feet didn't get soaked during his walk.
As predicted, he made it to his office at half-past seven and removed his coat, settling on browsing through the sketchbooks he'd collected from his class the previous day, going over their different sketches and placing a grade on a sticky-note and placing it over the drawing of each before recording it into his gradebook. He was lucky that his definition of grading homework was allowed. Looking at drawings all day? It was better than grading tests and papers all day long. He got through a few of the books before there was a bit of a scene in the hall and suddenly his door was thrown open, admitting... one hell-damaged young boy. "Ah, fuck, Meeka," he growled, getting to his feet quickly and shutting the door to his office.
It was quite obvious to him that the boy had relapsed. And he'd been doing so well with his cold-turkey method! Damn it. He looked at the clock. Quarter til eight. Shit, shit, shit. "I know, hold on, its alright, Meeka," he said softly, craddling the smaller boy against him as he guided him to a chair in his office before he pulled a set of keys from his pocket and unlocked the bottom drawer of his desk and pulled out a small bag. He then moved back around the desk and knelt down in front of the other male as he opened the bag to reveal the white crystalline substance within. He held it up to the male. "Rub some on your gums, it'll get you through group therapy this morning," he ordered and watched as the male obliged. God, the boy was so bad off that he was actually crying.
This was completely unlike the strong, silent and brooding boy that he knew. He watched the other male for a moment before reaching up, cupping the back of his head gently and leaning up to press a kiss to his forehead. "After therapy, you can come in here, alright, we'll get you settled, don't you worry about a thing," he said softly, closing the bag back up and placing it in his desk once more and locking it. He helped the other male up, gave him some kleenex so he could clean himself up before watching him head out of the office. God, he'd gotten so attached to that boy already. God, he hated seeing him like that. His poor litle Meeka, he just wanted to hold him tight and promise him that nothing bad would ever happen again, but he knew that he couldn't make such a promise. He waited a few moments before the anxiety was killing him. He moved out of the office, closing the door behind him and made his way to the medical wing.
Once there, he moved into the room quietly, watching as the boy beside of Meeka spoke up. He recognized him as Meeka's brother. He moved into the room a little further, stopping near Gibbs for a moment. "Hey... thought I'd come in and offer a bit more security," he stated softly to the older male. He glanced back at the group at this point. "I think Meeka will be more secure with me here... he doesn't trust well, you know... and he's been having a rough time of it lately..." he stated in short explaination. He gently smiled at the male, moved around behind Ric, lightly touching his best friend's shoulders and squeezing them as he moved around him to take the vacant seat beside of Ric, only two seats away from Meeka, both of which were empty. He looked around the group.
"Ah... right, do introductions include us then?" he asked, looking over at Ric with a faint smile. "I'm Rowa Blackburn for those of you I don't know. I teach all the art classes 'cause I'm obsessed with doodling in my notebooks... annnd... I dunno... I like tattoos," he finished a bit lamely with a shrug and a light-hearted laugh.

Whoever decided this group of kids needed to have a session together was a nut job, Ric was pretty positive. Even Gibbs did not seem too thrilled with the bunch of them. Gibbs had not put the session together himself, which was part of the reason he felt the need to oversee it, just in case. Alaric honestly had no idea what he was doing, and felt completely lost. He had only been in one group therapy session himself, and the only thing he remembered was sitting there in long sleeves, trying to not scratch his arm up to hell and back. He had no idea how a group therapy should be run; so, how did he get talked into it again? He reached up and absently ruffled his hair with a soft sigh as the first student, whose name he did not know until she said it, mentioned that she did not think she belonged there. Well, if her appearance was anything to go by, she did have a reason to belong there. However, the other students' comments to her were completely unneccessary and Ric scowled slightly as he said, "Keep your comments to yourself. We're here for you to talk about you, not to be cruel to anyone else." Ric had a strong desire to just send them all to isolation so he could leave, but that was not professional or humane of him at all. So, he just took a deep breath and pushed past it. Really, it was a bad idea to have him do this with as sour as his mood was, something that did not happen too often. "Someone else thought you should benefit from this session, Sophie. Talk it out with your own counselor later if you truly believe you should not be here, though you may still be assigned another one. Just give it a chance, okay?" Sweet tones and charming, manipulative smiles were commonplace in St. Helena's when attempting to get out of something. Sometimes it worked, but Alaric tried to never give in to something like that. They were there for a reason, after all. While he might not personally know their case, he knew that no one would assign group therapy without reason. Yony Katana. That was lovely. Sarcasm was all over that thought. Ric arched a brow as Yony introduced his snake and he glanced over at Gibbs, who remained stoic as ever. Letting Katana keep the thing would probably be in everyone's best interest, as he seemed fairly calm at the moment. If only he would stay that way. What Ric did not understand was why Kyle was seemingly okay with how Yony was treating him. Alaric knew better than to try to separate them, as long as Yony was not hurting the other kid. He did make note of Kyle's behavior, though, so that it could be talked about at a later time.
"Watch the language, Carter," Jackson insisted before taking a drink out of his coffee. He was keeping an eye on Lily and Yony. With her like that and Yony's general disposition, there was likely to be trouble, and Gibbs was going to do everything he could to stop it. Somehow, he had a feeling at least someone was going to end up going to solitary by the end of the session. If it had been up to him, most of the kids would not be in the room together. Meeka and Carter, for one. Yes, they got along, they were brothers; but, that was the problem. Having someone too familiar in a group session often led to either acting out, or a false response. Neither were good. Gibbs' attention was then drawn to another staff member that had wandered in. Rowa Blackburn. Jackson was not sure what he thought of this teacher, yet, but he had not heard much of anything bad about the guy, which was good. He often heard student complaints about teachers. He nodded a little as Rowa explained why he was there, and replied, "Always room for more help."
Alaric, who had been more focused on the students than where his boss was, was unaware that Rowa had come into the room until the other guy touched his shoulders, startling him a bit before making him laugh softly. "Uh, yeah, introductions from us are good. I've already given mine," he replied with a nod, flicking his hair out of his eyes. Once Rowa introduced himself, Alaric nodded a little and addressed the students once again. "So, uh, I'm new to this group therapy session thing. It was not really covered in my schooling, and when I was a student here, well, I don't remember much of the one session I was in. So, we're just gonna wing this, alright? Now, everyone in this room has one thing in common; we're stuck here at eight in the morning, and I'm pretty sure all of us would rather be elsewhere. So, let's try to make this as easy as possible and we can all leave earlier. Sometimes, it's easier to talk to your peers about what's bothering you than it is to be the only one. We often find we might have more in common with others than what we think. Uhm, so... anyone have thoughts or feelings they'd like to discuss?" So, he was basically just making stuff up as he went along. It was something he was good at. It sounded like bull to him; but, what else was expected of him? They were basically all just thrown into a room together and told to talk.

Sophie very nearly responded to the attacks, but realized just in time that to respond would be a mistake. Instead, she smiled sweetly. "Nice snake by the way. Trillium is such a pretty name. Is that a corn snake?" She'd always had a slight fondness for snakes. Snakes ate rodents, and Sophie despised rodents. She'd handle a cobra over a mouse any day.
She chose to ignore the one who called herself Kellen. Obviously, the girl was insane. And, Sophie had no reason to be bothered by the words of a lunatic. She ignored all of the eye rolls, knowing better than to be affronted by the judgements of these people who were not even from her social circle. Had there been any royalty present; aside from herself and Carter Collin, who seemed unconcerned with what Sophie did; then she might have taken their responses into consideration.
It wasn't that she wasn't aware of their opinions of her, she was always aware of the climate in the room, and this one was of obvious hostility to Sophie, but she just couldn't care less what these lesser mortals thought. She could care less what any man thought of her. And, the only other female in the room wasn't even remotely royal. She would have busied herself with something of more importance, like texting Elena, but she left her phone on silent in her handbag out of a show of respect for the teachers present.
Sophie was used to dealing with snakes. She dealt with snakes all the time at all-Royal parties and other such mandatory social functions. There were snakes all over this room, but only one was an actual reptile. She was not afraid of them. She had some wary respect for Yony, however, sensing danger about him. She would do her best not to attract his ire. She knew he would bite.
She barely heard what the glass eyed boy said. Looking at him, she had to force herself not to let her eyes linger on that unseeing marble that sat in his eye socket. Oh, that is so unfortunate. That could have been a pretty face. She thought. Not that it mattered. All men became pigs at some point in their lives. If she found out she was pregnant with a son--- not that she would ever allow her body to house such a dangerous parasite as a foetus--- she would abort it. Men sickened her. Abuse had completely ruined any chance of Sophie's ever having a relationship.
She wondered sometimes if she'd been asexual before the abuse. It was hard to tell when it all became so deeply engrained in you. Anorexic Sophie had been a result of the abuse, and she couldn't remember herself before anorexia, except for a few vague snatches of horseback riding and eating strawberry crêpes with Maman. That was before the abuse, before Maman became just Inès to Sophie. Before Papa became just Richard. She could hardly remember when she loved her parents.
"Just give it a chance, okay?"'
Whatever you say, pig. Sophie realized that she was being unfair. Alaric wasn't a bad guy. He hadn't made engaged in any overt flirtations with female students in her presence yet. From what she'd heard, he was actually gay. Gay men weren't bad. Sophie preferred them to straight men, in any case. She didn't really think of Alaric as a pig. Not an angel, but not a pig. He'd be a human being, on her scale. Not that being a human being was at all complimentary. But, most people were so very human. It couldn't be a complete insult either.
In reality, if she liked any man, she would have liked Alaric. He seemed fair. He seemed to have good intentions. He didn't look like he'd ever raped anyone in his lifetime. Sure, he was still a human, a disgusting homo sapien sapien. But, at least he didn't make her stomach roil with hatred and disgust. She could almost see herself befriending a person like Alaric in some other lifetime where she didn't hate all of mankind by default.
Maybe it was her hatred that made her impervious to criticism. She already hated herself enough that anything they said to put her down she'd already used to put herself down. The only comment that really burned her even in the slightest was the one about her hair, because that was true. But, hair loss couldn't be avoided after you'd starved your body of essential nutrients for so long. If she thought of it the right way it was a testament to her success in the war against her body.
Some part of her knew that it was a losing battle--- she'd die either way. If she gained weight she'd die by a handful of pills or a drop from a very high bridge into a very cold ocean. If she lost any more weight it would be death by starvation, or if she remained as she was now, some infection of the lungs or multiple organ failure. She was ready, which ever way it went. For now, she would fight to get as close to perfection as she could.
"All right." She said, in a resigned voice. She would endure one little session of group therapy. It wouldn't kill her.

Just fear me, love me And I will be your slave Do as I say Yony ran his fingers absently through Kyle's hair as the smaller boy introduced himself and stated the he had a glass eye. He smirked a bit more at that, the memory of removing the youth's eye flashing through his mind. He'd held the male down while Vital had pulled out Rainbow Brite and had proceded to press the blade into the socket. With Yony's hands holding the male's eye open, straddling the other male's shoulders so that his weight kept the male down on the ground. He closed his eyes, ignoring pretty much every other introduction made in the room as he remembered the blood and the screams. Oh so delightful. He shivered slightly, tightening his hold in the other's hair ever-so-slightly as he enjoyed the memories flashing through his mind.
That is until it came to the inevitable end. His smirk slowly slipped into a scowl as he opened his eyes, remembering how he and Vital had removed the eye and were just about to move on to the next eye when the transit over the bathroom door had been busted out. He vaguely remembered people attempting to break down the bathroom door, though being solid oak with the hinges on the inside of the door, it was just a tad bit difficult. He hadn't thought about the transit though. And then suddenly, he was being thrust away from the boy, and so was Vital. Salizar Snighrig was dragging the bleeding boy towards the door, unlocking it, and they were rushed by a cacophany of noises, and the site of the other staff member. Mr. Alaric Jester whom, one assumes, had been the one to give the boost to Dr. Snighrig to get through the transit.
Yony openly glared at Mr. Jester as the other students continued on with their introductions. He vaguely heard a girl agreeing with him on the matter of the royal skeleton beside of him, though that mattered not to him. All other introductions were ignored by the white-haired male as he glared at Alaric Jester as he spoke up once more. "So what is the point of group therapy if we're not supposed to talk to each other?" he demanded, eyes still gazing at the older male rather harshly. "Seems a bit contradicting, if you ask me. And I'm sure that you wouldn't want me to lie to anyone, so therefore... I will say what I believe to be true. If its cruel than... well... sometimes the truth hurts, doesn't it, sir?" he demanded roughly.
He turned his attention away from the male at this point to look around. Ew. What a pathetic group too. And could one get more stupid as to the people in this group? Shouldn't group therapy be comprised of students with the same ailments? It seemed to make more sense, but whatever, Yony wasn't the one in charge, unfortunately. He went back to absently stroking Bambi's hair gently, running his fingers through the locks lightly. "You know, Bambi... you really must tell me what you use on your hair," he stated absently, not really caring who heard him. "It's quite lovely. If I were an indian, I might actually have to scalp you just so that I could own such lovely hair..." he stated with a smirk. He watched the other male briefly for a moment before his hand slid down to the back of his neck and he then proceeded to lift him up.
Once he was up, he then pulled the male back down into his lap, lightly resting the hand with Trillium curled around it on the other's leg as his hand moved from the other's neck back to his hair. "It's a damn good thing I'm not an indian, isn't it, my little Bambi?" he asked, smirking slightly at the smaller male now perched in his lap. Yony didn't really give a shit if the teachers in the room approved or not... they didn't matter to him. All that mattered right now was his little Bambi, as he thought of what perfectly vile things he could do to him while absently stroking his hair.

He didn’t care what they were saying because he found it a waste of his time. He wanted to be asleep, or even doing something more productive. Kyle felt the hand in his hair get tighter and he bit his lip and closed his eyes before feeling the grip loosen again. He was sure that Yony was just testing him or something along those lines because he wanted to hear him scream again. Sure he had been taught not to, but he usually messed that up when something became too much for him to deal with. Vital and Yony cutting his eye out was too much for him to handle and he had ended up screaming and trying to fight them off.
He doesn’t fully realize what happened that day either because it’s all a blur now. It happened so fast that all he remembers is pain then being pulled up and dragged out of the room. After that he was in the infirmary for a few days before they realized that there was nothing they could do for him, and just gave him a glass eye and told him to make sure that it was covered and protected. Of course if he had lost his eye outside of St. Helena’s they would have made him stay longer and run more tests probably, but since Yony and Vital were locked up they thought it was safe for him to leave. Of course it wasn’t since some Jocks took it upon themselves to make sure that he knew he was a disgusting freak of nature.
He saw the teacher that was in charge of the whole session looking at him weirdly before he turned his attention to the floor and just feeling Yony run his fingers through his hair. Kyle was snapped out of not paying attention when Yony spoke. He smiled because it was all true. They were here to talk about their problems and to talk to each other about how they can handle something better. He heard Yony call him Bambi again and question him. He shivered when he mentioned scalping him because he didn’t want to be hurt again. “I just use shampoo and conditioner” he whispered before leaning his head back and looking at him. “It helps that I don’t do anything to it though… like dye it or even straighten it”
Kyle felt his hand moving down his head to his neck before pulling up and he stood up so that he wouldn’t get hurt. As soon as he was standing he was pulled back and slightly flailed a little because he was afraid that Yony was going to hurt him. When he looked down he saw the snake resting on his leg, but still wrapped around Yony’s arm. He kept his hand away from it because he didn’t want to be bitten, and he was sure that snakes were slimy and gross. Of course he had never seen one up close before let alone held one. He nodded slightly when Yony said that it was good that he wasn’t an Indian. He didn’t want to be scalped, and he was sure that Yony would take pleasure in any harm that he did to him anyways so he knew that Yony wouldn’t care if he was Indian, if he wanted to scalp him he would and that made him shiver again.
