Her fashion sense varies depending on her mood, but she wears a lot of skinny jeans, tee-shirts and dresses. • Music: Skylar loves music and often says that music is her life. She is almost constantly seen with her earbuds in.
  
• Singing: Whenever she listens to music, she either sings, hums or mouths the words along with the song. She wants to be a singer when she grows up.
  
• Dancing: When there isn't that many people around, you can often find her dancing like an idiot to her music. She has also been taking dance classes all her life.
  
• People Despite how many times she has been hurt by people, she has and will always be a people person. Sky loves to make new friends and will go up and start talking to anyone.

General Description:
Skylar is one of those people that you would never guess that she used to be abused and depressed. Now she's generally an extremely happy, loud and friendly person. Skylar loves to laugh and make other people happy. She hates silence so whenever she isn't with someone she has her earbuds in and is listening to music. She loves to make new friends and will go up to and talk to anyone, especially if they seem like they need someone to talk to.

Even though she loves being around people and making new friends, Sky is pretty hesitant to get close to anyone. A part of her brain still finds it almost impossible to trust people because of what her parents did to her. She does a pretty good job of hiding it, but a large part of her never really healed even after she moved out of her dad's house and all of her injuries slowly went away. It's almost impossible for anyone to touch her without her flinching away from their touch, especially if they are a guy. She also has some lingering self confidence issues after constantly being told that she wasn't good enough for most of her life. [/justify][/blockquote][/size]

History:
Skylar has always had a pretty messed up family life. Her dad started to abuse her sexually, mentally and physically when she was about four or five. Her mom either didn't care or helped in the mental abuse. Sky managed to stop them from ever physically hurting her siblings, but that meant that she had to take everything herself. After Suzie was born, something happened between her mom and dad and they started fighting a lot. When Sky was 10 her parents split up and her mom moved away with Suzie who was 3 at the time. That left Sky and Josh all alone with her dad.

When she was in second grade a girl named Christina Moore moved to her school. They were partners for something and immediately hit it off. The two quickly became best friends and almost inseparable. Sky would go over to Christina's house almost every weekend to escape her father. A few weeks or months after Sky and Christie became friends, Josh and Matthew, Christina's little brother, started hanging out as well.

They continued this for a long time, up until Skylar and Christina were both 10. At that time, the abuse at Sky's house started to become too much to handle and she fell into a depression. She started self-harming and attempted suicide a few times. Christie found out about this and decided to do whatever she could to get Skylar away from my house and my dad. She told her parents what was going on and they immediately took it to the authorities then took Skylar and Joshua in.

Once Macy and Robert, Christie's parents, officially became Sky and Josh's legal guardians they took Skylar to therapy for her depression. It didn't really do anything for the first year or so, but she eventually came out of it and decided that she wouldn't let her past rule her life. She eventually stopped cutting, didn't need the medication that they put her on and started to live as normally as she could.

While all of this was happening, Sky had been introduced to alcohol through her own curiosity and some of the older kids she hung out with. Her first alcoholic drink was when she was six and stole one of her mom's beers one night. That was the only alcoholic drink she had ever drank for a few more years, then she started drinking more once she would sneak out to hang out with her older friends. By the time she was 13 she was already nursing an addiction to alcohol.

One day when she was in 7th grade her friends talked her into skipping school with them. Then they went out to an old park and started getting high on weed that one of them got from his cousin. After a few more days like that, she was addicted to weed and alcohol. Over the years she has done almost any drug she could get her hands on. Macy and Robert found out on the day after her fifteenth birthday and found out about St. Helena's academy a week later. She was automatically enrolled. This will be her second year here.

When she turned 14 some of her friends decided to start a band and she became the lead guitarist and one of the singers. They had played multiple gigs and were booked to go on a small tour to play at some different places towards the end of summer.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
