OUTFIT: clicky | TAGGED: asher | WORDS: 650 Damn, this sno storm was murder. Draven cast a glance out the window of the office and into the infirmary where he could see straight out of one of the windows outside. It was just supposed to start getting light, yet it was still rather dark due to the cloud cover over St. Helena's school. The snow had hit a couple of days ago and was still coming in. He wondered why they hadn't mentioned weather like this in his interview at the beginning of the year... probably afraid he wouldn't agree to work there. He had been at the school since the snow had started on the fourth, and he was starting to get cabin fever. He was just glad he had the luxury of having spent the night here more than once in the past because of work so that he already had a cot set up in his office. Of course, it meant that some of his clothes were a little rumpled. He looked at his watch, it was nearing eight o' clock, and his customary morning coffee break was approaching. He rose from the seat in his office and moved into the infirmary. He checked on the single patient that he had present who was still sleeping and moved towards the staff lounge. He hoped that Asher brought something from starbucks. He was tired of his own coffee-making skills, though as he walked into the lounge he went to the pot to be sure that it did still, in fact, have coffee in it. He turned the pot back on where it had flipped itself off after two hours so that he could keep the coffee hot. He moved to sit down at the table, slouching forward over the table with exhaustion. How long had he been awake this time? 48 hours? 52 hours? He wasn't entirely sure. He'd slept some... an hour here, an hour there, but that cot really wasn't intended for long-term use... for days in a row. He could actually fall asleep right there on the table. His eyes were closed and his breathing smoothed out. It might almost have been worth the pain in his neck when he woke up... Had someone not entered and touched his shoulder. He sat upright quickly, causing just a bit of a head rush. "I wasn't sleeping," he stated immediately before he looked over at the male beside of him who, in fact, was carrying coffee from Starbucks. "Oh dear god in heaven, Asher, you are the biggest saint ever." he said simply, reaching up to take his double-shot cafe mocha from the other male and wrapped both hands around it. Putting his nose directly over the small hole for drinking, he inhaled the scent before slowly pulling the lid off of the cup. He could have moaned with pleasure. He lifted the cup, delicately sipping at the contents and closing his eyes slowly as he enjoyed the pleasureable warmth that spread through him. "Is it still snowing outside, or has it finally died down?" he asked of the other male, finally opening his eyes as he leaned forward on the table over his cup, elbows supporting his weight so that he didn't slump over again. "I swear, with that wind howling and the uncomfortable cot in my office I haven't gotten hardly any sleep, I'm about to keel over. Debating on seeing if Salizar or Richard couldn't cover my shift for today and just let me sleep he said softly, shaking his head slightly before looking up at the other male. "I hope you didn't have much trouble getting here this morning, and if you want, I can pay you for the wonderful coffee... I've gotten sick of the bland coffee that they have here..." he stated with a small laugh.
