danger in the shape of somethin' wild stranger dressed in black, she's a hungry child tagged: jenny || words: 833 || outfit: clickylyrics: hot child in the city by nick gilder notes: november 3 @ 3:45 PM **Continued from here** The walk from her office to the infirmary didn't take all that long, even with a 'sickly' girl. Nykki cast a glance over towards Jenny as they walked, she wasn't fooling anyone anymore, no matter how hard she tried. Well, she wasn't fooling Nykki at least. She reached out, opening the door of the infirmary and holding it open for Jenny. She gave the girl a small smile and gestured for her to go on inside and then followed after her. "Dr. Snighrig? Dr. Hawke? Dr. Everett?" she called out, waiting for whichever doctor was on duty in the infirmary. She kept her eyes glued on the door which lead to the back office. She'd never met Doctor Rich Everett, and she'd only briefly met Doctor Draven Hawke. She moved the file that she had brought out from under her arm and flipped through some of the papers located there before a doctor finally came out. She smiled brightly at the new male, knowing instantly that this was Dr. Everett because she didn't recognize him. But damn he was good-looking. She smiled as she rested a hand gently on Jenny's shoulder and escorted her forward just a bit. "Dr. Everett, good afternoon. I'm Nykki Perretta... one of the teachers and counsellors here... this is one of my students, Jenny. She seems to have missed quite a few classes today. Says that she wasn't feeling well this morning." she stated seriously before handing over the folder in her grasp that would tell Dr. Everett what Jenny's history and disorder was. She smiled slightly as she pushed herself back into a chair slightly, allowing herself just to let the doctor work, smiling at Jenny. "If you need me for anything, doctor, just let me know." Until then, she was just gonna sit there and watch him work. Maybe she'd even get a good look at his rear if she was patient enough. To bad he had that doctor's coat on... true pity. She was wearing her own lab coat as it was, though maybe if she could get him to take his off coat she'd definitely take hers off. She wondered vaguely where Salizar was. Maybe he was off having lunch with Ric and Ben, that was probably it. As it was though, Nykki wasn't exactly going to complain. "Why don't you tell him about what happened this morning, Jenny, when you started feeling sick."hot child in the city runnin' wild and lookin' pretty template by emrysdaelan @ caution 2.0keep credit or angry badgers will nom your face off |

"Everett here." Rich called, setting his coffee down carefully, and striding over to greet the councillor with a bland and pleasant expression. He was the perfect picture of professionalism and reliability. Oh, he looked the part. But, under the surface of his natural and well practised guise of well adjusted adulthood there brewed the deepest discontent he had experienced in months. This boredom with himself went beyond mere dissatisfaction with his job or his love life--- his job wasn't even the problem! It was boredom that had been left to fester for too many long months, and though it didn't seem to be affecting him professionally yet, but he could feel the frayed edges beginning to show through when he attempted social interactions with his colleagues.
"What seems to be the matter today?" Rich glanced at the little girl who was obviously feigning a dry cough. He fished around for the girl's chart before pulling it out and looking at the notes the last doctor on duty had scribbled on her file.
MGM Syndrome Chronic Get-Out-Of-Class Syndrome Acute Early-Onset Senioritis
So, it was just as Rich had suspected. He took the girl's temperature. Slightly elevated, but that could have easily been achieved by standing under a hot lamp or some similar means. And, in any case it was not high enough to warrant any sick leave. He gave the girl a knowing look before turning his attention to the counsellor who had escorted her into the clinic. She was the sort of person he could stare at for hours. She was wearing dark lipstick that played up the shape of her mouth. There was a spider-web tattoo peeking out of her lab coat. Was it strange that he was so curious as to what else was under that lab coat?
He needed to get laid. That had to be the problem. No wonder he was going stir crazy. Anything looked good if you'd been deprived for long enough. He fixed his gaze on her face and said something about his being unable to find anything apparently wrong with the girl, Jenny. But, if she was still feeling too ill to go to class now, they could do some blood work to see if she had any vitamin deficiencies that might be causing her symptoms.
The blood work suggestion, or threat really, usually changed a faking student's mind and magically cured them of whatever illness they'd been feigning.
Nykki Perretta An interesting name for an interesting person. Rich felt deadly dull standing next to her with his boring name and boring appearance. He had to remind himself that he too was marked--- the new tattoos that he'd had himself painted with were there, one hiding just behind his watch band. He'd been inked twice over the summer--- the first tattoo was nothing major, really it was embarrassingly generic, just a serpentine ouroboros to symbolize the cyclical nature of life. The second he regretted less, an homage to his Jewish heritage. It was the symbol 'chai' in Hebrew, which translated to 'alive'.
Still, in the presence of a genuinely interesting person he felt more like an imposter than a member of the cult. Rich nursed a silent fear that no matter how he marked himself, no matter how many insane things he induced himself to do on his road to self-discovery, he would find in the end that he was still an uninteresting person at the root of it all.
When he looked at Nykki he was filled with a sort of longing that transcended the physical needs of a man who hadn't been laid since the summer, and had much more to do with his longing to be a part of something like Nykki. Something untamed. Looking at her now, even in her lab coat, there was something undeniably sexy and a little sinister about the woman. Or, maybe it was just the make up? No, there was a definite sinful curve to her dark lips. Was she looking him over, or was Rich imagining things?
He must have been going stir crazy. He hadn't done anything remotely interesting all week and it felt like the walls were melting around him in boredom. It was only Tuesday.

She even coughed once as well as she wanted to let the whole world know she was ill even though they didnt passed anyone on the way there.Which made Jenny a bit sad as she wanted people to feel sorry for her and give her sympathy as they walked past.
Jenny then walked into the infirmary after Abby opened the door. She then walked over to the bed and climbed onto it and waited for one of the doctors that Abby called out to come out. Jenny then put her hand back on her stomach. Then as the doctor appeared Jenny coughed again. Jenny was hoping to suck him into her game. "I was trying to eat my breakfast but my body didn't seem to like it and I ended up throwing up. Though I did try really hard to eat as much as I could as I dont like my dad seeing me as his underweight daughter. Then by the time first lesson came around I felt really warm and thought I was going to throw up again so the teacher sent me back to bed." Jenny said sort of lying to him and Abby as she didnt tell them that she made herself throw up and that made herself feel really warm. Then Jenny didnt plan on telling the truth anytime soon. Why would Jenny tell the truth when she had already got this far. Jenny is the type that thinks if you are going to tell the truth then you should do it at the start instead of piling stacks of lies. Ironically Jenny never followed her own advice or anyone else when it came to lying.
She then let him take her temperature and then after gave her a look that said he knew and claimed that he couldnt find anything wrong.Though Jenny didS expertise for everything she could get till the milk run dry. Which wasnt going happen anytime soon as he said about doing a blood test to which Jenny went all happy on the inside. "Yes please take my blood and find out whats wrong as I really dont feel well. No other doctor I have been too seen has found out whats wrong yet." She then paused for a short moment before going into some sort of panic mode hoping to grab some sympathy. Oh my gosh what if I have some rare form of cancer. What if I'm dying."Jenny the gasped and put her hand in front of her mouth and all though she made it seem like she didnt want to be dying there was atcherley a part of Jenny that would love to be. As that way she knew she would be out of this place back in a proper hospital where she would be able to milk for attention for the rest of her life which made Jenny really happy on the inside. | [atrb=width,100]words ,502 words tagged ,Tagged Abby and rich notes ,outfit |
