"Alone." A smile painted itself onto Scarlet's face as she crept around her bed, a movement that was unnecessary due to the lack of roommate in the room. But she enjoyed tip toeing, it was better than letting her weight make a sound and trade a smile for disgust. Her goal was the wardrobe, which was barely a journey from her tossed covers yet it felt like an eternity for Scar. Half way to the wardrobe her smile was replaced with a wrinkly forehead and support against the bed. She groaned, she could always tell the kind of day she was having by the intensity of the dizzies. In the first few minutes of her day, she knew something had to happen today, and that something was to eat.
After slipping out of her night clothes and into her loose fitted black v-neck and skinny jeans, she leaned back into the wardrobe and picked out her orange pea-coat and toms to match. "These are the moments I wish I had a mirror." Scarlet thought as she looked down at herself. Today she felt good, she felt pretty...she felt skinny, but she wouldn't be able to share the pride with the girl in the mirror.

The girl in orange walked across a fresh white layered yard, leaving nothing, if she could help it and foot prints if the snow faltered with the grass under her feet. A sigh would escape her lips every time her weight betrayed her. "All I have to do is make it to the bench." she reminded herself as she picked up her pace and tried to stop worrying about the snow collapsing beneath her feet. Halting mid-stride, she could not stop worrying about the snow. Her hand glided through her hair and threw it to the side. And before she knew it, she was on the ground. Legs crossed and body leaned forward into her hands. The dizzies brought her down before she could make it to her final destination, her vision blackened and blurred in patterns as she ignored the nauseated feeling and tried to count the number of days it's been since she actually had something to eat.

[/color][/style][/style][/style] Acadia was still just getting used to things at St. Helena's. She had recently accepted an internship and student teaching position there, and was not quite sure what she thought of it. The staff seemed nice enough for the most part, though there were a few people that she felt were going to annoy her to no end. However, they were her co-workers, sort of. She was not required to get along with them all the time. She just had to play nice. She had her college campus ID in a lanyard around her neck that also had her keys and her ID for St. Helena's. It jingled as she walked, absently kicking at some leaves on the ground with her hands shoved into her coat pocket. It was a lot colder than she had anticipated, but the hot chocolate she had just finished made it so that she did not really notice it. The young woman hummed to herself as she walked. Her destination was the academic building because she was going to see the vice principal about more options of classes for her to assist with. She mostly helped in classes where the teacher was also a counselor, that way they could rely on her as an option to take over the class should the actual teacher need to go somewhere to deal with a student or for a session. Acadia had not met many people so far, and that depressed her a bit. She was such a people person, and she made a mental note to reach out to more people soon. Of course, all of her thoughts came screeching to a halt when she noticed one of the students falling over a few feet away. "Jesus," she mumbled to herself, rushing over toward the teen, which caused her braid to fall back off her shoulder to rest in place against her back. "Are you alright?" She asked the question as she crouched down next to the girl, resting a hand on her back. She worried at her lower lip, not exactly sure what she should do. She did not know the girl or why the girl was at the school. Maybe her falling over like that had to do with whatever her issues were. She was going to wait for some kind of response from the teen to decide what the next move should be, though. It was the safest bet.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] I hope the air will serve to remind you, That my heart is as cold as the clouds of your breath, And my words are as timed as the beating in my chest.
Scarlet's eyes were squinted shut as she hugged herself on the ground, sniffing lightly from the cold getting to her nose. Her long hair cascaded around her frame as she started counting down from ten. "Eight." her breaths became shallow and the wrinkles around her eyes softened. "Five...Four...Thr-" Her thoughts were disturbed by an added weight applied to her back and another woman's voice. Eyes wide, Scarlet dropped her hands from her sides, as she looked up. Her vision had stabilized while she was counting, but there was a slight blur around her peripheral, her lips pushed themselves into an embarrassed smile. She hadn't noticed anyone else in the courtyard due to the over thinking of her snow prints. And now she was on the ground, a stranger had watched her collapse, nothing new but always an embarrassment. She lifted her dominant hand to her brow and rubbed lightly, "I'm fine, clumsy me." she lied, gushingly. Twisting around, she s l o w l y rose to her feet. "There must have been a twig hidden." she said as she acted to look around in the snow, even kicked some around. She drew her orange coat closer around her small frame and smiled to the girl with the same embarrassed smile she first managed to show. Scar had not seen the woman around school before, and even though some people knew why she was here. She was not really open to talking to just anybody about it, especially when she was caught off guard by a side effect of the dizzies. Her hands slipped into her pockets, her right hand managed to graze up against a wrapper, she took out the food that was in her coat. A small candy wrapper 'Swedish Fish' assorted colors, a sweet that was always at the top of her binge list. "7 pieces, 50 calories, 0g of fat, 11g of sugar." She memorized most caloric facts on the food she ate the most. She hated the fact that her favorite candy was such a burden for such a small amount. She noticed she was staring at the candy for a little to long and shoved her candy filled hand back into her pocket and looked back to the girl. "I am sorry," A genuine smile plastered itself onto her pink cheeks. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before."

[/color][/style][/style][/style] "Oh, yeah, that does happen sometimes," Acadia replied as she put her hands back into her pockets. She was not so sure she actually believed the girl, but was going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Jumping to the wrong conclusions was just bad. Very bad, at least with this kind of stuff. Typically, it did not stop her from doing it; but, whatever. She was trying at least. She watched silently as the girl eyed a bag of candies, and put them away. That set off warning signs when combining it with the fact the girl had just fallen over. However, Cady would keep her comments to herself. The girl did not trust her yet, and rambling off about something she could still be wrong about could just make things very bad. She smiled when the teen did, though, and shifted in place a little, glancing down at her feet, wondering if she stuck out as being new to everyone. With a soft laugh and a smile, Acadia nodded a little. "In a manner of speaking," she replied. She did not consider herself to be "new here" because she was not really a part of the school. She was more of an observer. She was learning and growing, and would eventually become an actual teacher, maybe a permanent part of St. Helena's staff. Acadia thought that she might like that. A good job without having to move far from home? That sounded amazing to her. "I'm doing my internship and student teaching here. I'm Acadia Potter." She had only sat in on a couple classes so far, one of them being for that annoying music teacher, Jester or something like that. She did not bother to remember his name too well, mostly because he was annoying. Of course, Acadia was polite and everything toward him. She would just prefer as little interaction with the man as possible. "Have you been here long?" Acadia could not help but wonder if this girl was one of those long-term students that was there throughout their high school careers. Cade had gone to the Trinity High School when she was younger, and had never really hung out with any of the students from St. Helena's that would venture in to town. That was mostly because her parents would have grounded her if she tried. They were all delinquents and everything. It was a bad place. Of course, working there, you had a good reputation because you were trying so hard to help those "poor kids". Acadia really thought that it was bull, but what did she know. Everyone still thought of her as a kid, anyway. She often got mistaken for a teen, as well. It was not always a good thing, especially when a sixteen year old would hit on her at the shopping center or something. That was always embarrassing and amusing.
