General Description: Jake can be cold. He tends to be distant and stay away from people. He's afraid of getting hurt again, so although he's a hardcore romantic, and wants to do everything romantic possible, he's built up tough walls in order to keep people out because of his past. He refuses to talk to people unless he needs to, and usually he just listens to peoples conversations to learn things. He tries to avoid the drama, and stay out of the way the best he can.

Jake can hide his emotions well. He may seem happy but truly he's just faking it. He hasn't been truly happy since primary school. He was always picked on for being different, and being young at that time being only in Year 7 it affected him greatly. Since he only had a few friends during his secondary school years, he held onto them closely. They eventually back stabbed him, and caused him to put up his walls more.

History: Jake always wanted to be better than he thought he was. He had a relationship with an abusive guy, his first boyfriend, at the age of fourteen. The boy ended up telling him that no one else would want him because the boy didn't want Jake to leave him. Jake knew that the guy was no good, but he didn't want to leave the guy that he believed was his first love. He also hadn't told his parents about his sexuality, and actually was hiding that he liked guys. He didn't want people to know that either, and he was afraid that if he broke up with his boyfriend, he'd tell everyone. So they both were afraid of the other, and Jake ended up becoming self conscious.

His parents found out about the abusive boyfriend, and ended the relationship, while accepting that he liked guys as well. He was lucky for that. The only problem was that his ex had gotten into his head. No one else would like him because he was ugly, repulsive, fat, disgusting, and no one could love someone like that. He began taking it out on himself through anorexia and bulemia.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
