History: The last of five kids to arrive to Summer and Broadrick Stanley, Avalon was the end of their child birthing days. Both English literature professors at an esteemed University in Florida, they had high hopes for all of their children. If only they knew the future for the beautiful, defenseless daughter in their arms.
Every one of their children surpassed their expectations as they grew. Azrayel was a math wiz, Adriel was an aspiring athlectic jock, Amora had a beautiful singing voice and Amir was the next Picasso to the ever doting parents. Except their little Avalon, who seemed to only aspire to do nothing but trouble. In day care, Avalon was always in trouble for biting, throwing sand in other kids eyes, and countless other small offenses for a four year old. But as time went on, Avalon didn't out grow her problems. Any good things she did seemed to be over shadowed by her older siblings achievements or her own bad behavior.
At the age of eight, it hit Avalon. The only way to get attention from her parents was to misbehave. Fast forward five years, too many fights, groundings and punishments to the age of thirteen. Just as beautiful as her older siblings, Avalon started to notice the stares of boys her age and older. It didn't take long for the red headed teen to fall into bed with a piano teacher too old for her and take what didn't belong to him. Mordicai was his name. He was in his mid-twenties, dark and alluring for the young, impressionable Avalon.
She became obsessed with him, with what he did to her, with the promises he whispered at night to her. Over the next three years, he pulled her into his dark world of domination, sex, his obsession with vampirism and molded her into the woman he wanted her to be, teaching her how to steal, fight, and lie. Convincing her to sleep with whatever men or women he wanted to make more money for him and to let him cut her arms and legs to let him drink her blood. He kept her as his student and had convinced her that once she turned eighteen, they would run away together. As long as Mordicai was around, Avalon was happy and well behaved, making her parent's think her rebellious phase had passed.
But all was not as Mordicai promised Avalon. A few weeks after Avalon turned sixteen, Mordicai started to cancel their nights together more and more often. After a month of denying her visits, she stormed into his house, catching him with with another thirteen year old girl. That night, something inside her snapped and she blacked out. When she awoke, she was sitting in a police station, her hands covered in blood and her parents screaming about a pedophile and their poor daughter to police.
After the trial ended and Mordicai was put in jail, they enrolled their poor, sweet Avalon in St. Helena's School for Troubled Teens for her to 'heal' and 'become a functional part of society' once more. She's still coping with everything that's going on, as well as her addictions, aggression and co-dependancy. She's reckless and careless. . . Maybe St. Helena's will help Avalon find peace. . . Maybe not.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
