Sure, they would butt heads like normal siblings would (or as normal you can get within the Holmes household) but overall they had an okay relationship. That was until their mother passed away and they both started to grow apart. Amber had gone through her own grieving period, where she became spiteful towards everyone and became a bit of a delinquent. She’s very tomboyish, more than she was when she was a child and has a very bossy personality. When she was first sent to St. Helena’s with her brother she was beyond upset, but now she’s actually kind of thankful for it. She’s still frustrated, no doubt about it, but she’s starting to focus more on Nick’s wellbeing rather than her own, feeling guilty for never having noticed how much he had changed or knowing he was going through such serious mental issues and wishing that they had grown closer after the ordeal rather than grow apart. So now she’s a little glad that she was able to go to St. Helena’s with him, giving her the opportunity to reconnect with him. Since she's 14 she's a freshman, but even though she’s two years younger than Nick, she really does act like a protective older sister, especially now more than ever. You can decide if Amber actually has any disorders or not, but that's all entirely optional. This was understandable, since Rebecca was actually the one who had found Nick’s mother when she had died and was truly affected by the event, having become more reserved. What most people don’t know, however, is that she’s lying about ever trying to end her life – she just wanted an excuse to be with Nick and Amber. Back at home, she felt like an outsider. She’s shy, clumsy and incredibly nerdy with low self-esteem, feeling like she’s always being compared to her younger, perfect sister. Nick and Amber were the only ones that she felt had accepted her for who she was, even though she’s only their half-sister. Once they were both gone she felt like she was all alone again, so she decided to fabricate a story about how she tried to cut her wrists, going as far as inflicting actual wounds on her arms to make it seem more legit, even if the cuts were shallow. So now she’s in St. Helena’s as a result of her plan working, cherishing the moments she can share with Nick and Amber, while teaming up with Amber most of the time since they’re both freshman, both in the same couple of classes and both overprotective of Nick. Just like Amber, any disorders that she might actually have are all up to you. Her recommended pb is Saorise Ronan. Unlike the other pbs I’ve chosen, I actually really like this one to be used for Rebecca because I really love Saorise’s eyes and unique, innocent look, plus I think she expresses Rebecca’s shyness and awkwardness rather well, but if you really don’t want to use her then we can talk and work something out. They never really spoke to one another, though whenever they did it was casual and pleasant. Unfortunately their relationship now is a bit more complicated since they’re more prone to bump into each other more than ever before. She’s a bit of a workaholic, though whatever she does is all up to you, whether she be part of the medical staff or a counselor or even a teacher. In all honesty you can go nuts with her personality and interests. I’m open to anything here c: Her pb is Anne Hathaway, but if you want to use another pb, PLEASE TELL ME.
