Feet and InchesHeight:
Weight: 95
Hair Color: 5' 0”
Eye Color: Blue
Notable Features: She has scars on her back from when her step-father beat her too hard, and burn marks on her left hand from when her step-father pressed her hand into a hot stove for not getting him a beer when he asked for it.
Play-By: Odeya Rush
General Description: She has full lips, which she inherited from her paternal grandmother. Her skin is medium toned. Her hair is dark and naturally curly. Her eyes are old beyond her years, and blue. She wears whatever she can get her hands on. When she was living in New Orleans with her mother and step-father she hadn't had a new article of clothing in over three years. Her younger sister had it even worse, and had been Élodie's old clothes. Now that she is at St. Helena's, her room and board paid for by the state, she also has government funded clothes. When she first stepped into a mall, after all of those years of deprivation, she nearly cried and bought everything that caught her eye. As a result she dresses inconsistently, and her style seems to fluctuate from one day to the next. [/blockquote]

Dislikes:

-Nurturing. (Thanks to the fact that she practically raised her sister herself.)
Weaknesses:
-Quick to anger.
-Too aggressive.
-Holds a grudge.
-Misses her sister and worries about her all the time.
Fears:
-Her sister will be swallowed up in the foster care system, and they'll never see each other again.
-Spiders.
-Being alone with men (even if they are her counsellors in therapy).
Disorders: Anger issues. PTSD. Trust issues.
General Description: She is fiercely protective of her little sister, and being sent to St. Helena's has only made her feel worse, because now not only are they in different foster families, but they're in completely different states. She doesn't make friends easily, because it is so hard to win her trust, but when you have then she is a loyal friend. She's only ever had one or two fleeting crushes on boys in her life time. It was hard to think about having crushes when you had to worry about whether or not you were going to eat over the week end, or if you were going to be raped or beaten. Plus, she always had to worry about taking care of hers sister. As a result she is completely inexperienced as far as romance goes, and she isn't looking for romance any time soon. Though now that she is a teenager, who knows, romance may sneak up on her. She has guts and isn't afraid to stand up to authority figures, in spite of her abusive background. She did, after all, have the guts to kill a man when she was only twelve years old.[/blockquote]

Corrine LebeauMother:
Father: Xavier St Cyr
Step-Father: George Lebeau
Siblings: Aimee St Cyr
History:
Élodie comes from a New Orleans French Creole background. Her father, Xavier, died when she was seven, in an auto accident. Her mother married only a year later to a man that had swooped in to take care of her when the stress of being a newly widowed mother of two. At first, George Lebeau seemed like the perfect man for the family, but he was expecting Corrine to break out of her depression and show him some love in return for the love he gave. When she failed to be the wife he thought she would be, he began drinking, and things began getting bad.
It got to be where her step-dad sexually, mentally, and physically abused her. He took out his sexual frustration on Élodie, and thought it was a fair trade off since Corrine wouldn't satisfy him. Corrine's depression that followed the death of Xavier never went away, and she never did anything to prevent the abuse. Élodie's mother just laid in bed all day, hardly moving, hardly eating. Eventually, Élodie had to take care of her mother by herself because her step-dad wouldn't do it any more. One day she walked in on her step dad sexually abusing her six year old sister, and she snapped. She left before he knew that she'd seen them. Then, that night, she took his shot gun out of the closet, loaded it, tiptoed into his bedroom, and proceeded to fire it at point-blank range into his skull.
The gunshot woke her mother up, and she seemed to be afraid of her own daughter. The police came out, took one look at the bruised little girl and decided that she'd done it in self defence. Then, they moved Élodie and Aimee into foster care where they stayed together for a short time, but then were split up. Élodie did not take well to being away from Aimee and began lashing out at her foster parents and foster siblings. It all culminated in her setting fire to the house, which luckily didn't lead to anyone being injured, and her foster family didn't press charges. So, instead she was sent to St. Helena's to repent for her sins. And, that's why she's there now. [/blockquote]
