Which one is his office?" Nykki exclaimed of the older male across the table. It was her first day back at St. Helena's, she had heard they were looking for a new chem teacher, apparently a simple substitute was teaching it at this point. She'd leapt at the opportunity to get to work at St. Helena's the school where she'd made such good friends, and imagine her surprise when the vice principal was her old counselor! The beginning of that meeting had been comprised of excited squeals from the young girl and much clinging and hugging to the older male until he had managed to get her calmed down enough to actually start the meeting, and now that she had been officially hired, he had just told her about someone else that was here at the school as well. "I can't believe Ricy is here!" she exclaimed, grinning slightly as she reached across the desk as he handed her a rather long white lab coat and moved around the desk to hug him again. "Thanks, Gibbs. I'm gonna go see him!" she exclaimed, pushing her arms through the sleeves of the coat before turning and moving out of the small office that belonged to Gibbs and moved down the halls. Though she didn't walk like most people. No, Nykki Perretta was far above walking. She was running down the halls like an excited little girl despite the fact that her boots raised her up a good four inches at least, she ran as if she were in tennis shoes. The lab coat billowed behind her as she moved, reaching the door that belonged to the office where Gibbs had said Ric could be found. Without much ceremony, she opened the door to the office and stepped inside... and was confronted with the sight of Ric with his arms around a taller man who looked like a doctor, dressed in a button down shirt, tie and a lab coat similar to hers. "Oh... apparently I'm interupting something..." she stated as the taller male pulled away from Ric and looked at her like he thought she was some kind of martian. She grinned slightly, moving forward. "Ricy, I'm so happy! You finally got yourself a boyfriend! A hot boyfriend too," she stated, looking over the taller male. It was hard to find someone taller than Ric who stood at 6'3", but it looked like this man was at least 3 or 4 inches taller than him. She grinned slightly as she looked between them. She wondered if the other male was the school doctor or something. He did look very sharp. And was very much into Ric from the way he'd had his arms wrapped around him and his lips locked to Ric's. Nykki merely watched him with an amused look as he seemed properly flustered at having been caught with his hand in the perverbial cookie jar. Well, at least Ric seemed happy about the arrangment, it was about time. From the few times she'd talked to him on the phone over the years, he hadn't had anything to report by way of a real relationship. She had decided while sitting in Gibbs' office that if Ric had not found someone, that she was gonna have to play matchmaker. Well, that was one less thing she had to do while she was here, there was that at least. She then looked over at her oldest friend and held out her arms, giving a small pout. "No hug, Ricy? I missed my Ricy-roo... and when Gibbs told me that you worked here too, I just had to come and tell you the good news... you're looking at the new chemistry teacher." Her pout faded into a smile as she watched him approach her and threw her arms around him in a tight hug. Alaric laughed softly as he leaned against his desk, gently tugging on Salizar's tie to tug him into another kiss. The other man was supposed to be getting back to work after having helped Alaric with discussing one of the students, figuring out how to handle things easier with the assistance. However, somehow saying good-bye had ended up with Zar lingering there in the room with him, not that Alaric really minded. They did both have work to do however. "Not sure this is very conductive to you getting back to your office," he commented, though made no movement to put any sort of distance between them. Instead he just wrapped his arms around Salizar, instead. Work could wait just a few more minutes after all. Of course, the moment was ruined a few moments later at the sound of the door opening. Alaric was completely expecting it to be a student, but instead he heard a highly familiar voice that made him smile brightly with a soft laugh of surprise. "Nykhole!" She had been one of his closest friends in high school, having been there at St. Helena's when he had finally come to his senses and gotten clean. It was not exactly the best point in his life, and honestly Ric did not remember too much past being in a lot of pain while being completely unable to sleep for days. He flushed a little at her comment about him having a boyfriend, pulling his arms from around Salizar. He had no issue letting people know he was with someone, that was completely fine. He just was not generally one to be all over the person he was with if there was someone else around. It was a little rude. Plus, Nyk did not know the full situation yet, anyway. "Uh, yeah, this is Salizar. He's on the staff as well." Alaric absently ruffled his hair a little, trying to figure out if it was the right time to fully explain what was going on with Zar and Ben. The situation, to most, was not exactly normal and kind of odd to just bring up. Ric had no problems with the situation int he slightest, but that did not mean everyone else was as understanding, though he doubted Abby would do more than just tease him like the little shit she was. "Zar and I are actually with someone else, too. Ben. He's in class right now, I believe." So, it was not exactly the way he had ever planned on Nykhole finding out, but she had just walked in on him and Salizar, so, what could he do?

He laughed softly when she held out her arms and pouted, quickly getting up to go over and hug one of the people he was closest to. "Congrats on the job, Abby," he said, pressing a kiss to her cheek as he squeeze-hugged her, practically lifting her up off her feet. "I missed you,h too; I can't believe you're here." He had a feeling that Boss was going to regret hiring him and Abby onto the staff together; or at least outwardly so. The music teacher knew that the old fart really did care for them as his own. It was nice to know that they had somebody there, especially when their own actual families were not in the best standing. Releasing Nyk to stand on her own feet, though keeping an arm around her waist, Ric moved so that he was facing Salizar again, staying at his friend's side. "Not exactly the way I pictured Nykhole meeting you or Ben, but, heh. Zar, this is Nykhole. She went to school here with me. She's the sister I never wanted but got stuck with anyway." He smirked a little at the teasing remark at the end, knowing that Abby knew he was only joking. He had often reminded her how glad he was that they were friends, and that if she had not been there, he probably would've ended up relapsing in high school even. She really was a great friend to have.

"Ooh, any relation to Salazar Slytherin?" she asked with a grin. "Cause that would be totally awesome. I might just have to draft you for Harry Potter parties anyway," she added, nodding in a matter-of-fact way. The thought of seeing this man, who looked like he didn't like to be out of control in any situation just based on his appearance with not a single strand of hair out of place, dressed up in robes with a wand and maybe even a snake just absolutely made her day. Already, she was invisioning what kinds of colors she could match with his skin and hair tone. Of course, it would look oddly weird if he was in green and hanging off the arm of her very Ravenclaw-y Ric with his blue hair. Ah, if only Ric's hair were green. It made her pout ever-so-slightly. Though then she was pulled out of her thoughts by Alaric stating that he and Zar were actually with someone else to. Someone named Ben. "Wait... so... you have... two boyfriend?" she asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked between the two, tilting her head as the one called Salizar simply nodded and gave her a rather awkward-looking smile, as though he were just slightly embarassed. "Aw! That's so cool! I'm so glad you have your own little family now!" she exclaimed, clasping her hands under her chin slightly as she seemed to coo over them. She really was genuinely happy for her adoptive brother, he deserved to have all the love that he could get hold of. She smiled at the two of them and threw her arms around Ric as he approached her. "I'm so happy for you!" she exclaimed in a loud whisper as she held onto him as he practically picked her up. There were few people in the world that could make even her feel like a little girl, but Ric and Gibbs were definitely right at the top of that list. She grinned slightly as she pulled back. "I know, right? I heard that St. Helena's was running off of a substitute chemistry teacher, and I just could not have that." She nodded vigorously at the thought. However, at this point, Salizar seemed to finally be speaking and she turned her entire attention over to him, face full of attentiveness as if what Salizar was saying was the absolute most important thing she would ever hear. So you're the new chemistry teacher? It's good to meet you," he stated simply, offering her his hand with a slight smile. "It's good to meet friends of Alaric's, and ones that seem to have a good head on their shoulders. Tell me... have you ever done any kind of... medical work before? See I'm the doctor here at the school, but I could really use an assistant if you're up to the task."

Nykki grinned slightly. "Met many of Ricy's friends that don't have good head?" she nodded seriously. "We're so hard to come by, you know," she added in a melodramatic tone as if it were the worst kind of hardship she'd ever had to endure. Though as the other posed another question to her, she grinned broadly. "Oh, that sounds exciting! I'd love to help you out in any way that I can. Anything for someone who makes Ric so obviously happy," she stated, looking over at Ric and grinning at him as she tightened her own hand around Ric's waist and smiled over at him, tilting her head slightly and resting her head against his shoulder.

Well, I do have to get back to work now, so I'll let you two catch up." Salizar moved forward and pressed a gentle kiss to Alaric's temple and nodded at Nykki before heading out of the office to let the two old friends get reaquainted with one another.[/i]

Nykki smirked at Ric as soon as Salizar was gone and pulled away. "Sooooooo... nabbed yourself two boyfriends, however did you manage that, Ricy?!" she asked, eyebrows raised suggestively as she grinned at him. "He's definitely a looker too... a bit to serious for my tastes though, so you're safe there. What's the other one like?" she asked, moving towards his desk and lifting herself up to sit on the edge and leaning forward slightly, crossing her legs at the ankles as she watched him. "It really is great to see you, it'll be just like old times! Only this time, we're the ones in charge." Her eyes glinted slightly in excitement and mischeiviousness. "It's going to be a blast!"
