laid back, goofy, musical, open minded, sweet, self concious this here is ben, the teacher for music and guitar and he's also a counselor for anger management and bipolar. this dude is relaxed and goofy and just all around laid back. while he tries to be professional, it isn't exactly something that he does well. he's music obsessed and almost too passionate at everything he does. he's a flirt and definitely outgoing. he is more likely to be a friendly figure than an authority figure, but he will be serious if he truly has to. ....................... |

Tae&ben
I can see Tae liking Ben and getting on with him quite well. I can see Tae asking him lots of questions as to why he is here as he dont 100% understand/know why. I can see Tae-Hyung at some points getting angry and trying to use him Taekwondo skills on Ben.

Ben is very laid back. And while he would try to remain professional simply because Tae is one of his students and he is Tae's counselor, he would struggle with it. He's very open, so if Tae asked him a question it'd be pretty likely that he would truthfully answer in any way. If he doesn't know a hundred percent on an answer, he'll let Tae know and find out for him.
Ben doesn't have a temper. He's very calm and soothing and I really couldn't see him getting frustrated with Tae at all, so if he was angry, I'm sure that Ben would take it all in stride. He might even be goofy enough to ask Tae to show him some Taekwondo moves. Who knows?

Tae would like that he would be truthful to him when asweing tae's questions but Tae probably wouldn't like the answers. He would probably also have a bit more respect for the Ben for the telling the truth. Then if Ben was not retalte/stop him at Tae, then he would probably get confused and be like why you no retalte. As he so used to people stopping him or fighting him back. Then If ben ever asked him to show him some taekwondo stuff, Then tae would happly show him.

I would give my left thumb for a counseling thread. No don't take me seriously I need both my thumbs. I only have two. But still. You see, Mikhail is here at St. Helena's not because his family shipped him away, but because he actually researched himself and begged to be allowed to go. He wants to get better more than anything in the world. His anger upsets him and effects his life profoundly. As Ben is his counselor, I'd really love for them to have a fairly close relationship where Mik feels that he can come see him when he needs to, and I would adore a thread or two that's actually of their counseling sessions. Getting better is an integral part of Mikhail's plot, and Benton is the only one that can really help him with that. And, hell, Mik may very well be his most willing patient.
Mikhail & Jack
I don't know what kind relationship these two could have, especially as Jack is so easily freaked, but Mikhail's a friendly guy, and he'd be nice to Jack persistently no matter what response he got, even if it weirded him out a bit. I'm just not sure how Jack would react. |

i'd be crazy happy to have a counseling thread with him and ben! ben is definitely passionate when it comes to his job. he'd be excited to have someone come to his sessions that took things 'seriously'. and while i totally don't want to take your thumb from you, i definitely want to see how these two would work.
jack and mikhail
while jack is afraid of everything, he's anything but skittish when it comes to social situations. he loves to play with people's hair and talk a mile a minute and invade space. so long as mikhail was nice to jack, he would have a friend of life.

Oh, good, I'm happy to keep my thumbs. They're useful. I'd love, love, love a counseling thread, though, so whenever you want one I'm prepared. Mikhail really wants to get better, and I think Benton's the kind of person that could put him at ease, so it'd be interesting to see them try to get at the heart of his issues.

Hooray, friendship! Mik would definitely be nice to Jack. He's generally a really sweet guy, and I can't see Jack triggering anything that would make him go Hulk. Most of Mik's rage is reserved for his future boyfriend, sadly. He'd be happy to have a new friend, and would probably appreciate the affection. I can see them becoming pretty close.

exciting! if you want to start a thread for our boys, you can. if not, i can probably start one here in a little while. it'll be interesting seeing ben in a 'heart to heart' thread and test out his listening skills.

typically jack's friends are girls, but i'll be a great change to have a male friend in the mix! he needs more protectors, honestly. and even if he did see mikhail when he was upset, something tells me that jack would never hold anything against him. it's just not in his nature.

I can see these two being pretty close friends. Elyse likes to make people smile and is overall a happy person. She has a few off days every now and then where she has flashbacks or night terrors. These are rare but she can seem like a totally different person. She is also a music love. She loves to play guitar and sing. What do you think?

benton needs more friends! he has enough people surrounding him right now, but those are his boys so it's a little different. he needs someone he can be close friends with. someone to spoil that isn't in his bed every night. he needs someone that would know where to find him when he gets depressed and hides out at his mom's house. he needs someone to go out to lunch to and talk to and just be all around adorable. he's open minded so even when she is in an off mood, he would ignore it. if he truly cared about her, it wouldn't matter what mood she was in. he is loyal to a fault.

i think that if they knew each other for a while, it would be easier for them to be really close... but at the same time, it would be difficult to know how the two of them work together if they've known each other for a while. maybe they are friends... but kind of just at arms length for right now? they can slowly get closer once we know how the two of them thread together :D i have a couple of threads to catch up on and i can start one.

Okay, so I'm pretty sure that Sky would love him if they ever talked. He sounds adorable and she'd probably be determined to get him to be her friend. I swear that i had more for these two earlier but I can't remember what it was...
KAT && JACK:
How she acted towards Jack would depend on her mod that day. If she was manic she'd probably be like "OMG" and as hyper and peppy as he was. If she was depressed however, she'd probably just be like "Dude chill, you're giving me a headache." or something. I'm not really sure. All in all though, I think that she'd like him if they ever talked to each other.
KAT && BEN:
Well, Ben's her counselor so they'd be required to spend time together even if they didn't like each other. I think that Kat would think that he was cool though and actually liking her therapy sessions instead of hating them like she did before she came here. I doubt that they'd actually get all that much done though because Kat is almost completely unable to be serious when she's manic and when she's depressed she doesn't want to do anything at all, including talking to anyone.
(Those were better in my head I swear. If you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them.)

he would love her! he is squeeing in my head right now because he wants to play with her hair. he has a thing for hair and pretty girls letting him dress them up, so if she latched on, he would love it. he loves everyone and loves being friends with everyone.
jack and kat
jack sees the good in people, no matter how terrible they are... and kat doesn't seem like a 'bad person' to me. he would try to cheer her up with cute little gifts and ideas, if he had to. he loves being around people and making people happy, so he definitely wouldn't mind her, even if she was in a down mood.
ben and kat
ben never gets anything done, even when he's by himself. XD add her lack of motivation or hyper active attitude (whichever it happens to be that day) and we have a recipe for disaster. he would try to act professional, but i can promise you that it wouldn't work well. he is a big kid in dress clothes. he would let her talk about anything and listen perfectly if she needed to talk someone's ear off... and be all kinds of adorable when she just wanted to be silent.
