General Description:

Caleb is a laid back individual and pretty much a free spirit. He has never been the one to stick to authority, and does not plan to anytime soon. He does what he wants, because he just not believe in any sort of rules. He is more of the person who likes to go with the flow rather than have an exact plan to hand. He is quite immature and perhaps always will be, as he does not plan on growing up. He is scatter brained, disorganized, lazy but he loves music. He is a nice guy, when you get to know him, very sweet and a bit of a goofball. He is sarcastic, always joking and would rather have fun than deal with his real life problems. He has alot of insecurities stemming from his childhood, which is perhaps why he blocks it out with his reckless ways.

One thing about him is that he is very impulsive in everything he does, and tends to get into alot of trouble. He never has a plan to hand and can be very unpredictable, as he is indecisive. Caleb’s temper is pretty bad when provoked and he can be suddenly very aggressive and is hard to calm down when he starts. Despite being a free spirit, he does have a nasty side, especially when he is sober. He does have a habit of being very snarky when he is sober or even when he is being treated like a child. He really hates being talked down to, or told what to do. He knows he isn’t making the best choices in life, but he refuses to believe his problems are all that bad. And he honestly thinks he can deal with it on his own, and does try to be independent in that sense, as he doesn’t want to ‘burden’ anyone. . He was so used to caring for himself for years, he finds it hard to let others in and try to help. He is vulnerable and really doesn’t know what he wants in life to be honest. He aslo has a habit of pushing people away, is fairly guarded in that sense. he is very self destructive and a very loss sense of self worth.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]

History:

Caleb’s entry to life wasn’t simple.His parents were young and had no clue what they were doing, so they gave up trying to raise their son only after a couple of months. So , he was sent to his grandmother. Caleb grew very close to his grandmother, more so than anyone, even his own twin brother. He was very into music as a young child and would watch his grandmother, usually for hours on end, play piano.

Caleb was actually a quiet child, though had a penchant for getting up to mischief when he got bored. He was very curious, yet weary around strangers, though this changed within time. His grandmother sadly passed away when he was around six years old and was sent back to live with his mother.Caleb’s relationship with his mother was not a good one, as she was very neglecting and Caleb always had a feeling he was never wanted as a child, not by her. He had to fend for himself most of the time..often alone, until his mother decided to come in drunk or high, and verbally abuse and beat him on occasion. It deflated his self esteem big time, and from then, he became a little lost in life, not sure who exactly he was supposed to be.

So it came as no surprise when he started to cause trouble at school. He suddenly was very impulsive. He never thought before he did anything, thus getting into tons of trouble. He wasn’t sure if this was attention or not, to make up for what he didn’t get at home. His problems worsened by age fourteen, as he was suspended form school at least three times. he was going to parties almost every weekend or whenever he could get the chance. He didn’t care at that point whenever or not he was too wasted to turn up to class, as he thought no one would miss him anyway. By that point, his mother had just upped and left him, alone.

He had no where to go, until social services put him in foster care. but he never seemed to like it. he started to withdraw into himself, and started to self harm at that point. when he was fifteen, he fell in love with a girl and after a whirlwind romance, she fell pregnant. sadly, the baby was born stillborn. the girl soon left after that. which made Caleb spiral into a deep depression. he was drinking, self harming and threatened many times to take away his life. he almost succeeded twice, by slitting his wrists, which caught the eye of his social worker and sent him to doctors who diagnosed him with BPD and depression. he was sent to St. Helena's after that, to make him deal with his problems.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
