It was late, night; and, he was terrified. However, he felt the extreme need to get out of the school. So, he carefully made his way through the building and out the exit nearest the annex, not even bothering to see if there was anyone lurking around who might turn him in for sneaking out so late. It was highly unlikely anyone would notice him anyway. Clutching his bear to his chest and holding a large flashlight in his shaking hands, he made his way toward the town. He focused on breathing and taking one step after another. His gaze settled on the spot of light on the ground, something that helped him forget that it was indeed really dark all around him. Iz bit his lip lightly as he walked and soon found himself at the local park. He quickly decided to make his way over to the pool house, knowing that it was past close, so that meant there would be nobody there. Of course, his confidence in that was a little shaken as he tugged on the door to find it unlocked, meaning he would not have to pick the lock, something he had gotten rather good at doing. Isa cautiously stepped into the building and looked around as he neared the shallow end of the pool. "H-hello?" he said softly. Though his voice was generally soft, the acoustics in the room amplified it a bit, and it still echoed slightly. When he received no answer, Isa walked over to one of the benches lining the walls to set his flashlight, bear, coat, and hat on. He toyed with the ends of the scarf he wore as he looked around a little, flicking his hair back out of his eyes. It was a good room to practice for choir in. The acoustics were amazing, and he did not have to worry about anyone hearing him. Of course, the silly boy forgot about the fact that someone could be out back smoking, or in the shower and locker room, or in the office, or something. The door had been unlocked, after all. Still, as he stood there, the small boy thought over his different options of songs to practice, and he tried to pick one. After another moment of silent thought, he flicked his hair out of his face once again and started to sing. He had to change it a bit to fit his vocal range, but he could hit almost every note. Some of them were still shaky and unsure, but with practice, he could get it perfect. He had to. It'd drive him crazy if he didn't. Isa made it part way through the song before he heard one of the doors to the room shut, causing him to freeze almost immediately and look toward whoever it was that was there. "U-uhm..." was all that he managed to get out as he stood there awkwardly. words 497 tagged open notes idek. outfit here coded by becky! of caution 2.0 |
