General Description: Ember is a little short and a bit thin but she's pretty average other than that. She's tan during the summer, whether she likes it or not, and rather pale in the winter, and her hazel eyes look bright green most of the time. She has multiple tattoos, her most noticeable being her cameo chest piece. All of her tattoos  cover the major scars that one of her alters create, which may be the only reason her mother agreed to them when she turned 16.  She's still covered in scars on her arms and legs from that alter though, so she usually tries to wear long sleeves and jeans out in public if she's in her right mind. She doesn't like to be noticed because being noticed means talking to people, and talking to people means possibly making friends that her alters could hurt and/or do something she wouldn't do in her right mind with.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]

General Description: Ember is the quiet girl in class that only talks when she's called on and always has the right answer too. No one really thinks much of her until they hear her sing. She finds her singing more of a curse than a blessing though because it brings around all sorts of triggering people (ex. jealous singers looking at her as competition). While she doesn't like standing out, she will stand up for kids that are getting bullied or hurt in other ways. She's too kind hearted to stand by and let someone get hurt. She doesn't like to make friends for obvious reasons but she does like having a few friends she can trust. She needs at least one or two people that she can count on to take care of her when one of her alters take control. 

Her alters personalities are quite different from her own. According to her friends and family there are around 4 alters but only two they can distinctly tell apart from the others. The most noticeable one, whether it's taken control or not, would be the one that's left Ember's body riddled with scars and cuts. She's blunt  and violent and easily angered by people doing things she doesn't like to her. This one is her least favorite but luckily she hasn't shown up since the "accident" a couple months before entry into St. Helena. The other alter is very promiscuous, which is the only reason she's not a virgin. She has an affinity for risqué clothing and is very outgoing. As far as Ember knows, according to people around her, this alter has no preference when it comes to gender.

History: Ember's mother and father were still very young, 18 years old, when they had her. She was unplanned like most children born to parents that young, and was the only thing keeping her parents together as long as they were. They never married and broke up officially when Ember was 3 years old. She lived with her mother Senna for most of her childhood and occasionally saw her father when he decided to stop by. 

Senna started to see signs of her daughters MPD when she was around 13 years old. She noticed Ember acting out more at school and then when asked later what she had done she couldn't remember anything that happened that day. Senna just thought she was acting out and lying so she wouldn't get in trouble until one day she was faced with the alter in person. She walked into her daughters bedroom and found her covered in blood from two gashes in her right thigh. It wasn't this though that alarmed her, it was the fact that Ember was just sitting there calmly smiling at the blood but as soon as she grabbed her wrist with the knife in it she began to scream and cry, like she had just realized what she had done. She rushed her to the hospital, and then some time later that year after some observation she was diagnosed with MPD. 

Senna took care of her as well as she could and Ember, while her violent alter did still come out sometimes, she was doing a lot better for awhile. But Senna was also, and when the option of a higher paying job in a different state came up and Ember's treatment prices kept going up she had to take it. Ember was sent to live with her father David and his girlfriend Amelia until her mother could set up housing and treatment by her new job. Her mother never counted on Amelia though, and didn't know what she was really like. She was a rotten woman that had David wrapped around her little finger. She talked him into believing that Ember was faking it all because he'd never seen it and to take her off all treatment. She treated her like she was worthless and made fun of her constantly, and little by little her violent alter started coming out. Then one day Amelia walked in on Ember covered in blood, but she didn't see the gashes on her wrists that were slowly killing her instead she saw her brand new white carpet getting stained red. Then she probably made one of the worst mistakes of her life, she slapped her across the face. To say the alter was a little pissed would be and understatement, she was livid and immediately swung the knife she had used on herself in the direction of Amelia's face dragging the blade from her left eyebrow across her face and right cheek and was about to do it again but was stopped by her father who had heard Amelia screaming. This shocked her back into her own mind just in time to faint from blood loss. Ember doesn't remember much after that because they kept her in a coma in fear that she wouldn't be herself when she woke up. The next thing she remembers is waking up at St. Helena with her mother by her bedside telling her what happened and what was going on now. It was court ordered that Ember be sent to St. Helena until her MPD is back under control or she is of age to be transferred to an adult mental facility.
