CANON Evans is one of those girls you would never assume to be depressed. she's usually full of smiles and laughter, though that's only in front of her friends. her home life is not the best, but that's not something she talks about. her friends don't know of her father's verbal abuse, or her mother's neglect. they don't know how belittled the brunette feels by them, her teachers, some of her friends. she's picked on and teased, and though she tries to act like it doesn't bother her, inside it really tears her apart. the summer before her senior year, she attempted suicide by swallowing a bottle of pills, but her mother found her and she was rushed to the hospital in time, where they suggested sending her to get help from St. Helena's.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON tall and skinny with a rocker look, this boy isn't one to care too much about what people think to him, or at least that's what he likes people to believe. he is at St. Helena's for being a suicidal teen. he doesn't talk about his problems to anyone, preferring to keep to himself. known for being a loner and one of the "odd" ones, he doesn't really care about what is popular or new. he doesn't feel that he's got a reason to stay around, though his best friend (and crush) Turner might fix that. he's also fairly close to Lee someone he has bonded with over their mutual want to end their lives.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON her story is one of those that many would see as being a bit overdramatic. she fell in love with this boy, and swore it was forever. he was the only one in her life she was really honest and open with. just a few weeks before the start of their junior year of high school, he broke up with her for her best friend. this completely broke her down, and her emotional stability fell with her. she wondered how anyone could love her if she was dropped so easily, if her father never wanted her. was she that horrible? these dark thoughts that she used to keep trapped deep inside came pouring out all at once, and it became too much to handle. she ended up trying to take her own life via cutting her wrists. luckily her college-aged brother found her, though she still wishes he had not. CANON homeschooled for his entire life by his pastor father and stay-at-home mother, Carlisle is smart but farther behind in grade than his peers because he just did not have the written documentation needed. he grew up being a perfect little soldier, following his father's footsteps to become a pastor, but once he started to question his faith, his sexuality, and everything else, his parents started to treat him differently. they punished him for being "ungodly" and threatened to remove his piercings forcefully if he wouldn't. he was verbally and mentally abused, and finally it became too much. the teen tried to take his own life by hanging himself in the barn behind his house. it did not work like planned, and though it hurt, he survived the initial drop and his sister found him before the rope could do it's job. so, after his trip to the hospital, his parents decided to send him to the school for the other "ungodly" kids.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON when he was ten years old, he was in a car accident that took his sixteen-year-old brother's life. ever since then, Trestler has been plagued with terrible nightmares, bouts of insomnia, and these visions that will not seem to leave him. it is his brother that he sees, and at first, he did not tell anyone. his brother would just randomly show up and talk to him, but it was nothing bad. as the years went on, though, the visions and delusions grew more and more violent to the point that Trestler would unknowingly harm himself, believing fully that it was his brother doing it. it was when he was a freshman that it happened at school, and he was sent to a therapist for evaluation. the therapist suggested that the boy get some intensive help, going to a place that had plenty of staff to assist, St. Helena's. CANON Davis fully believes that she is Alice from "Alice in Wonderland", but only when she falls into her delusions. there are times that she is completely normal and herself, and she does not remember her time being Alice, which just leaves her all kinds of confused. nobody can quite figure out where the delusions started, but they get more powerful as she gets older. sometimes, it's nearly impossible to get in touch with the real her.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON there's a dark thing. he does not know what it is, but it is dark and it is there. it follows him around, lurking in corners, in people. it has not been violent or anything, but it leaves him pretty scared. he tried talking about it to the school counselor, but only managed to have his mother alerted to something serious being wrong with him. his mother, not knowing what else to do, decided to get her son some help. CANONChristmas seems like a cute and sweet, innocent teen; but, she really is not. she's manipulative, deceitful, a liar, violent, quick to anger and act, and she does it all without remorse. Christmas has a habit of wetting her lips and smirking, especially once she has realized that someone else has fallen into the little game she built. she's never been able to be fully blamed for the major injuries and fatalities that she has committed, but there are those who are sure it was her, even without the evidence needed to prove it. she's on the fast track to be locked away once she turns eighteen, unless she can charm one of the counselors or medical staff into signing her release. CANON something is not quite right with Lewis. it is almost noticeable when you first meet him. something in his eyes is distant and dark. he does not spend time with people, unless he needs to in order to manipulate them to do what he wants. he's never had a relationship, well not one he honored. he's been in multiple, using the girl's devotion to get what he wanted while never being faithful or really thinking much of her. he knows he's better than anyone there, definitely better than the man whose death he caused. he's one of the more violent students that the entire staff is cautious of. unluckily for her Smith has caught his eye, and he's fully prepared to charm his way in to her life.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON definitely an artist, this boy tends to stick to himself. he's friendly, don't get that wrong, but he's definitely what one would consider an loner. soft spoken, he's not one to try too hard to get his opinion known, unless he's really pissed off. he has been enrolled in the school because he struggles with his bipolar disorder. he doesn't really like medication, so he refuses to take his own prescription. it doesn't do too much to help him, though he still doesn't want to take the pills. one of his few friends is a boy younger than him, Thompson(2).[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON this is one of those boys that you don't want to cross. he has a short fuse, is easy to anger, and when he gets mad, it can get explosive. there are times he gets mad enough that he wants to hit anyone or everyone he comes across, but it's all blacked out and when he calms down again, he's no idea what happened. he has a slight thing for Cooper, but he is terrified of hurting her in one of his blackouts.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON who would have thought that preppy and popular Tomilson would have major anger issues? not anyone in her hometown, that's for sure. nobody really noticed the small things, grinding her teeth, clenching her fists until her nails caused her palms to bleed. that was until she found out that one of the other girls on the cheer squad was sleeping with her now ex-boyfriend and she proceeded to take a baseball bat to her car, and then took out her knee with it before a teacher showed up and dragged her away. her mother and father had noticed things like that before, and were unsure of what else to do, so when St. Helena's was suggested, her bags were packed and she went there.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON now, Hartman, here, is at the school because he suffers from multiple personality disorder. the only reason he's aware of his other personalities is because of his therapist's information. he hasn't personally "met" his other personalities, though he does know one of them is quite violent. he has complete blank moments from when the other personalities are out, and only knows what they've been up to by checking to see any damage done. nobody's sure what exactly brought on his mpd, but maybe jumping from foster home to foster home all his life has something to do with it.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON Nelson is one of those genuinely sweet and caring individuals. he's the type of boy that any girl would love to introduce to her mother. of course, they'd leave out the part that the guy has a problem with his phobias. he has quite a few of them that keep him typically sheltered away from most people, though a few make it through his walls, such as his girlfriend Kent, and his good friend Green, whom he really wants to be with. his fear of upsetting his girlfriend, however, keeps him from doing anything about it. between his germaphobia/mysophobia and agoraphobia, it's hard for the boy to make too many friends, though he'd like to. CANON this girl grew up in a tough neighborhood, one where you had to thicken your skin to survive. it was a struggle daily to make sure she and her siblings had food to eat; she was rather young when she lost her virginity, to an older guy in her school, and since then she's never really been the same. she loved the high that sex brought and soon found herself dressing to attract guys, flirting with them, and just generally trying to get into their pants. she tried to get gay men to sleep with her as well, and succeeded a few times, even. things came to a halt when she was caught hitting on one of her teachers after hours. the man's wife didn't take too kindly to that at all, but miss slate was sent to st. helena's for help after that. sex addict.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON Turner is a "player" type of person who doesn't stay in a relationship for too long. he prefers quick flings to actual relationships, partly because it's easier and he has yet to meet someone he really wants to date. scratch that, he's not dated someone he wanted a relationship with. after all, he's got a bit of a thing for his best friend Thompson(1), but he doesn't want to mess up their friendship by trying something. he wants to help the younger boy, though, but he's not sure how. between the constantly changing relationships and the alcohol, his life is enough of a mess as it is. a part of him secretly hopes that he and his friend can help each other, though, but he won't admit that to anyone. alcohol addict.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON this young lady doesn't believe she really belongs in St. Helena's, but her attacking someone mid panic attack in the middle of the mall was a sign to her therapist that something wasn't quite right. she seems to stress and panic over the smallest things, maybe that's why she doesn't have too many friends or relationships. there's not too much the general public knows about this girl, and she prefers it that way. she panics less often if she's not really acknowledged by people, and that's the way that she likes it. panic disorder.[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON he can't quite explain what his love of fire is, just that it's there. it's pretty, strong, powerful, and deadly. maybe that's why he's so intrigued by Sullivan. her fiery personality is definitely one to rival with. he got sent to St. Helena's after he burnt down his old high school and stood there, watching it burn with a smirk on his face. his mother couldn't figure out where she'd gone wrong with her "little boy", only that she wasn't sure who he was anymore. her last hope is St. Helena's, too bad Jonas doesn't want to change. oh yeah, did we mention he failed a grade? pyromania[/div][/td][/tr][/table]

CANON having grown up in town, not too many people are unaware of who he is. he's one of the suicidal and self harming counselors at St. Helena's, and has been for two years now. he's a bit strict, but does it in a kind way. he cares about his students, but wants them to be their best, to get "better" and rejoin the real world. he might not always seem like he cares, but he does.counselor[/div][/td][/tr][/table]
