The two of them were together from junior high until about two months into college. They were inseparable, the couple everyone thought would last, Tobi included. However, distance proved to be harder than either thought, and things did not last very long after October flew off to Washington for college. After the breakup, she did not really hear from her ex. She did not know about his mother getting sick, about him pursuing music in college, about him also getting a teaching degree, about how his father divorced his mother because of the stress of her illness, about how his sister got pregnant at sixteen, about... well, just everything. This guy is not the same sweet, talkative and happy boy that October had fallen in love with in high school. He's older, quieter, more reserved, and a lot more distant than she remembers. He's still kind and caring, but puts people more at a distance. He's the type of person to seem more stoic than anything and does not say much unless he really has something to say. This plot is about rediscovering each other and learning to deal with the changes in one another over the years. October's feelings are still there, but are his? Signs point to 'yes', however, things are not always that simple. They've both got a few obstacles to overcome before things can really happen again. She's going to have to let go of her fear of being left, and he's going to have to allow himself to let her in again. His PB is pretty set, though if you'd really like a different one, talk it out with Alice. Everything specific is here, anything that is not covered in here is pretty much up to whoever takes the request, and complete plot ideas can be talked about once the character is taken.
