katherine steele
suggested face: julianne moore. age: forty-eight.
ALL ASPECTS ARE NEGOTIABLE/UP TO YOU: THIS INCLUDES NAME, AGE, FACE, AND OCCUPATION.
This is Jeremy's mother. It has been almost ten years since Katherine has seen her baby boy. No one knows why she left, other than that she had a fight with her ex-husband (Jeremy's father) right before leaving. Why she left is up to you -- maybe she decided to go to medical school, or go back to school to finish her degree, and/or decided to go teach/be a counselor or librarian at St. Helena's because she knew that the kids there needed her more. She didn't think that her ex-husband Stephen would take a turn for the worst when she left. Eventually, Jeremy and Katherine will meet up again at St. Helena's, and when he introduces himself as Jeremy, it will pretty much domino from there. They'll decide to get a blood test to see for sure, and soon after, Katherine will come to know the horrible things that her ex-husband has done to her child. You can pick any person you want to portray her and even change her name. I would like a red-headed person because the one thing Jeremy remembers about his mother is that she had beautiful red hair; otherwise, he doesn't remember what she looks like.
POSSIBLE OCCUPATIONS AT ST. HELENA'S:
- Librarian
- Writing Teacher
- Counselor/Doctor
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR LEAVING HER FAMILY:
- wanted to go to medical school
- wanted to finish her degree (could have been for med school)
- was offered a job at St. Helena's and decided the kids there needed her more
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Katherine was originally married to Stephen Evans, with whom she had her only child Jeremy. After Katherine decided to leave them both, Stephen became a completely different person. He ended up drugging and raping Jeremy several times, while Jeremy fell into a deep depression and started self-harming. After investigations following Jeremy's second suicide attempt, Stephen was put in jail. Check Jeremy's history for more detailed information.
