General Description: She's bipolar so one day she'll be happy and loving life and the next she'll be extremely depressed and not want to do anything. She'll normally stay manic or depressed for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks and then she'll switch. Sometimes she's "normal" where she isn't manic or depressed, but those are few and far between. Kat never knows when she'll switch because the length of each manic episode or episode of depression is almost never the same. Kat's view on other people depends solely on whether she's depressed or manic. She generally likes being around people, but like almost anything else, her will to socialize with others goes out the door once she falls into an episode of depression. History:Katerina has had a pretty normal life. Both of her parents had good jobs so they never really had to worry about money. Lilly was a scientist and Peter was a CEO for some business. The couple originally only wanted one child, but that changed when they found out that Lilly was having twin girls. When the two girls started to grow up their parents wondered why they ever thought that just having one kid was a good idea. The two girls were almost inseparable from the day that they were born.

When the two were around nine years old, Kat became more independent. She still loved to spend time with her sister, but she liked to spend time without her sister almost as much sometimes. It was around that time that their family also found out that Kat had bipolar disorder. She had always behaved kind of oddly, she would be happy and energetic like every other kid, more than every other kid, for a few weeks then she wouldn't want to do anything and always seemed to be tired for a few weeks afterwards. It wasn't exactly that dramatic of a change from manic to depressed, so her parents didn't think anything was actually wrong with their little girl. When she was about nine or ten however, the changes started to become more dramatic. That was when her parents found out that there actually was something wrong with their little girl and she was told that she had bipolar disorder. Her parents automatically got her a therapist, hoping that it would help. Her mom heard about St. Helena's because of her aunt, who had a daughter going there, and as soon as Kat was old enough, she was admitted to the school. [/justify][/blockquote][/size]
