Mickey felt himself smile a little as Harmony said that one of the reason's she wanted to be his friend was that he hadn't ran screaming in the opposite direction yet. He had thought about it, but now Mickey had to admit that he was kind of glad he hadn't. He didn't really make friends very often. The girl had stopped talking to put on some lip-gloss. It looked like she was trying to make out with the little tube-thingy that it was in. He would have thought that it was really weird, but Mickey knew that a lot of lip-gloss had to be applied that way. Okay, so maybe he shouldn't have known that, but Mickey wasn't exactly considered 'manly' so it was okay for him to know about stuff like that. At least he thought it was.
Mickey bit his lip when she complemented his hair and said that she'd love to play with it sometime. He wasn't particularly fond of having people touch him. The only people he was comfortable enough with was his brother and Kae. Maybe he'd be comfortable enough around her some day, but he wasn't going to hold his breath until that day came.
The boy shook his head when she said that she thought that he'd have a lot of people wanting to be his friend. He could count on one hand how many friends he had ever had in his lifetime. “Not really. Most people either don't notice me, ignore me or something. Not including you, I really only have two friends and one of them is my brother.” He said, finding it a little easier to talk to the girl now that they were actually friends. Friends didn't judge or make fun of each other, right? They weren't supposed to anyway. He watched as Harmony walked over to one of the graves and started straightening up the flowers although he wished that he hadn't. Once he saw that those flowers weren't straight, he noticed that other ones weren't either. It annoyed him. Actually annoyed was too light of a word. It was almost impossible to take his mind off of the flowers. He knew that it would constantly bug him until he did something to fix it.
Mickey walked over to the first set of flowers that caught his attention for not being straight. He squatted down in front of the bouquet and moved the flowers around until they were perfect in his mind, or as close as it could possibly get. He moved on to the next bouquet as he listened to Harmony talk. She went from asking about how he ended up here to how crazy people can do weird stuff without being judged. He didn't really agree with that since he still constantly felt like he was being judged by everyone, but maybe there was some truth in her words. When he was at his old school, he'd get picked on for all of the weird stuff he did. However, they didn't know that he had OCD. What if they knew that he had OCD? Would that had made them not pick on him as much? He wasn't sure. Maybe if he embraced the fact that by some people's standards he was 'crazy' he wouldn't be judged as much. It was an interesting thought, but he doubted that it would actually happen.
“Umm...I have OCD apparently. They thought that the therapists could help me with it and make sure I did all of my homework and stuff I guess. I think that my parents really just wanted an excuse to get Ciel and me out of the house.” He said, still focusing on the flowers he was fixing.
