General Description: At first glance, most who see Aureolin believe he is a girl. He is indeed a very pretty boy, with an almost feminine build, and features to go with it. His near-white hair falls nearly to his earlobes, in straight, silky locks. His skin is a light color, though normally pink around his freckle-dotted nose, due to the fact he blushes or is sunburned easily. While he is skinny, due to the fact he nearly starved himself to death, Aureolin is fit for his form. His legs and arms are slim, with a slender torso, and almost always an innocent look on his face. He occasionally follows in his favorite teacher's(Mr. Jester) footsteps and dyes his hair, when he's allowed.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]

General Description: Aureolin is a very, very sweet boy, though his shyness often gets him nowhere. He is often hurt by bullying, due to his prominent sexuality and looks, and can almost always be expected to come into class late. Not at all because he is skipping, but because he simply hides until the late bell rings, to try and avoid being beat up or insulted. To his teachers, he is a great student, though he can be known to trade work for a few sketches in his notebooks, often of his dead boyfriend or his cat, Cleo. Aureolin mourns his lost lover deeply, and still hasn't let go of him. He likes to confide in his teachers or counselors, though he is too scared to try and make friends. Aureolin doesn't have a heart for violence, and though he tried to starve himself to death, is a pacifist. He would rather flee than fight. Aureolin longs for simply someone his age to have as a companion- perhaps even love. He has trouble forgetting his deceased lover, and needs a strong shoulder to cry on. Aureolin is easily compromised by emotions, and just can't seem to fit in.[/justify][/blockquote][/size]

History: Aureolin was born in a middle class family, living just on the outskirts of Old Crow, Canada. His family owned a small farm where they had two horses- Prince and Sky's Limit- as well as a few chickens and an old dairy cow named Annabelle. Aureolin was used to waking up early in the morning to milk the cow, feed the horses, and gather eggs from the chicken coop, though he had his head in the clouds. Aureolin loved to make up songs for himself, sketch what he saw, and would even make up scenarios about some things, just for the fun of it. An only child for some time, Aureolin grew up with only the farm animals as his friends, and loving parents. 

Gregory Meadows, Aureolin's father, was a skilled jockey. Sky's limit, the beautiful bay purebred Stallion they owned, was his prized mount. Aureolin was always with his dad to not only cheer him on, but also as a part of the crew that helped manage horse and rider. It was his dream to follow in his father's footsteps. The Meadows' name has been on the scoreboards many times, earning first place in the American Kentucky Derby, and second place in more than one race, whether it be in North America or Europe. Gregory was on,y a few seconds away from winning the Triple Crown, when disaster struck. Sky's limit collapsed in the race, faltering after his heart gave out. The pretty Bay fell horridly, dead, and crushing his rider. Gregory died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, Aureolin at his side.  

His Father's death is what brought him down to earth. Aureolin began to loose confidence in himself, his grades were dramatically lowering. Once an all A student, he was dropping dangerously towards C's and D's. He nearly failed his freshman year. There was one person, however, that brought the meaning of life back to Aureolin's eyes. Larkin Zaranchii.  

Larkin had been part of the crew for another racehorse- Midnight Sonata. In friendly competition, the two would always joke about who would win, and make petty bets, or dares. It was what two teenagers did, really. Larkin was hurt by Gregory Meadow's death as well, despite being on an opposing Jockey's team. He had been friends with the man and his son, despite being a Junior while Aureolin was a Freshman. He began coming over to see Aureolin, helping him and his mother on the farm, and growing close to the boy. 

Larkin and Aureolin were in love throughout Auroelin's high school years. They were very close, going to dinner together, often going on little trips together, even secretly seeing each other at night. Larkin was a caring man, and would bring Aureolin gifts nearly every time he saw the boy. The two weren't afraid to be laughed at when they were together, though Larkin had found his boyfriend many times crying at the jeers and taunts. During the summer before Aureolin's junior year, however, everything changed. Larkin was driving them to the movies, as they normally did on cool Friday evenings. There was a small little drive-in that showed classics every night, and they would just sit on top of Larkin's Ford F150, watching them together until the theatre closed, before heading back to the Meadows' home. But tonight was different. A few minutes before they arrived, it began to rain. Aureolin wanted to turn back, but Larkin assured him they could just sit inside the car to watch the movie. They were almost there, slowly trekking through the pouring rain, when a car came out of nowhere.

Larkin was killed by the impact. Aureolin sustained heavy trauma to his head and legs, and was in critical condition for two weeks. 

Finding out that his only love had been killed was too much. Aureolin dropped into depression, refusing to eat, or even go to school. He failed his junior year, and began cutting. When that didn't help, he resorted to suicide. Hs mother caught him right before he hung himself.

Worried for her son, Lillian Meadows sent Aureolin to St. Helen's, hoping the school would take in such a sweet, yet battered boy. [/justify][/blockquote][/size]
